Canteen is not only one of my favorite breweries to visit in the city, but is overall one of my favorite establishments to patronize. While they are a brewery, they are still family friendly, and their staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed. Their food is not the typical pub fare you can get at any other brewery in town, they have options for everyone and every diet. I have been visiting canteen for years and the quality has remained constant if not improved. I will happily be a customer of canteen for years to come, and always look forward to the events they host!
0 star experience at Canteen Brewhouse. My friends & I were excited to visit, but the bartender was rude from the start. After my friend accidentally spilled her drink, the waiter ignored us & didn’t offer help, forcing us to clean it ourselves. Things got worse when he made a sarcastic, inappropriate comment about Native people, which felt racist. We tried to ask about it, but the staff ignored us. The lack of accountability & respect for Indigenous customers is disturbing, and I will never be returning. I hope the management addresses this behavior because Albuquerque should be a welcoming place for everyone. Unfortunately, this experience left a sour taste in my mouth.
Update - It’s been a month since emailing Jamie (a manager) and no response.

Horrible service. I had just arrived and was served my 2nd beer with my group. Jamie, the manager on duty, treated us poorly and aggressively disrupted our party. Rudely Insisted we leave while we had full beers on the table.
