Canteen is not only one of my favorite breweries to visit in the city, but is overall one of my favorite establishments to patronize. While they are a brewery, they are still family friendly, and their staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed. Their food is not the typical pub fare you can get at any other brewery in town, they have options for everyone and every diet. I have been visiting canteen for years and the quality has remained constant if not improved....
Good beer and live music with a large outdoor patio are the big pluses of Canteen, with a decent take on a sandwich menu and some light munchies for food to round out the Brewhouse experience. Service is usually decent, with plenty of staff on hand to deal with the larger music crowds in the summer.

Great food, great beer, but the live music is way too loud every time. I would change this to 5-stars if not for that. Great bands, but I don't want to be there if I have to yell to communicate at my own table.
