We had a delightful experience at Carrie's! The service was incredibly fast and friendly, making us feel right at home. The penne pasta I ordered was simply delicious - perfectly cooked and the green chile and calabcitas were perfection in this dish. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu!

I have never had such a bad dining experience. Took a while to get seated, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The food was cold and greasy. When the waitress brought the Bill's all of our bills were incorrect and needed to be fixed, which took so long. Then being able to pay also took forever.Wouldn't reccomend at all, go literally anywhere else and you'll get a better experience.

Delicious, hot, and fresh breakfast buffett today! We had eggs, cubed potatoes, yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and a chocolate crossaint. Hot tea and OJ. Tremendous customer service from the hostess, to the waitress, and cooking staff. The cook went out of his way to get us what we requested. Our waitress was quick and reponsive. We were able to eat and get to our conference meeting in no time at all! Love the decor.

We arrived at the Clyde around 6:00, and being tired decided to try Carrie's. After being seated, we waited almost 15 minutes before a waiter came to our table. There were only three other tables occupied, so it wasn't like they were busy. The food arrived another 30 minutes later, and was average at best. The check finally arrived , and that took ten minutes to complete. Over priced and poor service.

We went for brunch New Year Day, good menu, well prepared food except my meal came out totally cold, that was quickly corrected. The hostess/waitress didn't even try to come off cheerful so the experience was dulled a bit. We'll try dinner one of these nights soon.

The food was most underwhelming. We asked to share a salad and the waiter brought two plates whilst we waited for the salad. Most restaurants will split the salad in the kitchen. We both ordered French dips and the arrived soggy and greasy. The French fries were limp. Our waiter hovered over us the entire meal.

We ordered one of their signature drinks and were told they didn’t have the prickly pear syrup. I tried to order another dish and was told they were “out”. We got an excuse that they had just had “thousands of teachers and had been very busy”. That is called poor planning, it’s not like you didn’t know they were coming. We ordered apple pie alamode, the ice cream came directly from the freezer served in a separate dish.As a restaurant that wants to achieve upscale status they have a way to go.

If you’re 82 years old and eat dinner before 6:00 PM, you might be in luck, but if you want dinner later in the evening…..too bad. They close too early. A restaurant in a large hotel in a major American city that closes during dinner hours. So disappointing.

Terrible service. However, the man filling the waters was wonderful and super attentive. They serve overpriced food with little flavor. Waitress didn’t even come back to check on us. We had to bring the check to the bar to pay and there weren’t many tables in the whole place. Definitely eat somewhere else.

I am a guest at The Clyde and went downstairs to Carries restaurant to place an order to go. The hostess took my order then brought my check. I did not leave a tip because I wasn’t staying to eat. When she brought my food she was very unfriendly. I looked in the bag and asked if there was plastic wear and she very rudely said yes, it’s in there. I commented on her rude behavior and she said “you didn’t tip!”So apparently if you don’t tip (for no service) you receive very rude customer service. Will definitely remember her face the next time I go downstairs. As for the food, it was bland.

Food was very very good, but pricey. Waiter was friendly enough but not very attentive. Beer was served unopened and in the can, didn't pour it into the empty glass and tea glasses went dry. Very quiet and nice ambiance. Great history of the hotel.

Breakfast menu needs to be updated to reflect what is in the kitchen. No one wants to order a cinnamon roll 3 different times to be told the 3rd time that they never have cinnamon rolls. They also apparently never have bananas either.Day time hostess tends to walk away from her post when she sees me walking up... and this has happened more than once. Paul, on the other hand, sees me and immediately seats/serves me.

We need to remember that people wanting to work to take care of us R working. To say there’s no service here has not had Paul as a waiter! One man show and still made us feel welcomed w a smaller. The food is 4+ on taste and servings are plentiful. Ask for Paul for that he cares attitude. Thanks for the (literally) running to take of us 10+

Long wait just to be seated. Almost no service once we sat down. The second day we have them another chance. Waited 15 minutes to be seated and then were told that they were short staffed so we would have to wait another 15 minutes to be seated. So we went elsewhere.

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. $4 for four slices of French toast. The price of coffee, $5.50, is steep but it comes in a pot enough to be shared by two.
