Love love love the corn chowder with candied bacon. My friend had the Chicken Pot Pie, with its puff pastry top -- yum!
Carries Restaurant is a beautiful, light-filled space. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive. Every time I took a sip of coffee my cup was immediately refilled. I just don't know why they are not open for dinner. The food, service and ambiance at the 1922 Bar, which is where dinner is served, was subpar. I recommend ordering dinner from room service. It uses Carrie's kitchen. If their kitchen is open, why can't you dine there?
Really nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Had breakfast, Carne Adovado plate came out like a deconstructed burrito. Everything was placed on top of my tortilla. This made the tortilla soggy and it was shredded meat , not chunks of meat, dry as the tortilla had sopped up all the red gravy. Also food was luke warm.
Maybe lunch will be better.

It was a special day celebrating Mother's Day, and I made an 11:00 reservation to assure a seat. Got there promptly at 11:00, however the restaurant doesn't open until 11:30. Nothing about the experience was special and it truly was disappointing with the professionalism and service you would anticipate getting from a Hotel of this caliber. I am local and unfortunately this will never be a choice for any event or special occasion I have. From valet to the front desk to the restaurant was nothing short of chaos and unprofessional. To top the afternoon off there was no toilet paper in any of the restrooms available to visitors. Not anything I wound except from a Heritage Hotel.
The ABQ rancheros was the best savory breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Really big portion too. Service was good. And it’s nice eat in such a vibes place.

Service staff is slow, it is a work lunch spot and they take forever with excuses of “our system didn’t out the order in”

For someplace so empty, you’d think that you’d get better service. We sat for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our drink order- even then I had to flag someone down. It looked like there were multiple wait staff and there were only six tables. The waiter that eventually helped us was nice and attentive when he came by, but the food took forever to come out - and definitely wasn’t worth the wait. The restaurant serves very basic menu items, so it was a bit perplexing why it took so long and why it was so badly done. (My French toast was rock hard- like it had been microwaved) We ended up waiting another 20 minutes to get our check- even after another staff member asked if we needed it. The hotel is lovely, but we’re planning on going elsewhere to eat.

Had a wonderful breakfast here. Coffee was good. Had the ABQ Rancheros, they were great, wish I had a photo. Service was friendly and prompt. The aesthetic was cool, it had an art deco prohibition vibe.

Carries has launched a delicious new buffet! From a Bloody Mary bar to fresh sliced beef tenderloin, it was delicious. Friendly and attentive service on top of it. Great spot for Brunch!

We had a delightful experience at Carrie's! The service was incredibly fast and friendly, making us feel right at home. The penne pasta I ordered was simply delicious - perfectly cooked and the green chile and calabcitas were perfection in this dish. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu!

I have never had such a bad dining experience. Took a while to get seated, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The food was cold and greasy. When the waitress brought the Bill's all of our bills were incorrect and needed to be fixed, which took so long. Then being able to pay also took forever.Wouldn't reccomend at all, go literally anywhere else and you'll get a better experience.

The buffet was quite limited for the price. One choice of soup, salad bar, , meatloaf, and potatoes. Honestly, I expected more.
Delicious, hot, and fresh breakfast buffett today! We had eggs, cubed potatoes, yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and a chocolate crossaint. Hot tea and OJ. Tremendous customer service from the hostess, to the waitress, and cooking staff. The cook went out of his way to get us what we requested. Our waitress was quick and reponsive. We were able to eat and get to our conference meeting in no time at all! Love the decor.

We arrived at the Clyde around 6:00, and being tired decided to try Carrie's. After being seated, we waited almost 15 minutes before a waiter came to our table. There were only three other tables occupied, so it wasn't like they were busy. The food arrived another 30 minutes later, and was average at best. The check finally arrived , and that took ten minutes to complete. Over priced and poor service.

We went for brunch New Year Day, good menu, well prepared food except my meal came out totally cold, that was quickly corrected. The hostess/waitress didn't even try to come off cheerful so the experience was dulled a bit. We'll try dinner one of these nights soon.
