We tried their Food Truck tonight at Altura Park's Thursday "Truck Night", and their food was delicious! Had the 4 taco plate (asada and chicken- 2 of each), the meats were fresh, tender and with great flavors. Looking forward to trying the rest of their vast menu selections.

I would give this place a 0 but I can't. The chicken tacos had actual bones in the chicken;bones. The burger and fries were something I could've made actually I could've made them better. We felt so sick after eating at this place. Please save your money and don't eat here

This food truck has a variety of dishes to choose from, and all really delicious might I add. I have never been disappointed with anything I order. Although I tend to stick with the same thing, family owned and very humble. I do recommend the Mexican hamburger which is my fav. No complaints just a 5 star review.

When I was a young girl in California my Abuelita would take me to Mexico. There was a small restaurant that made the most amazing tortas. When visiting Guadalajara when I was older I found another restaurant that brought back that same amazing tasty memory. As a young adult I found a few places in LA that made these amazing Mexican sandwiches. Now fast forward to more recent times. I have never found that same taste only imitations until I encountered the Castaneda family. Their daughter was taking orders and actually thought they ran out the proper bread. It's not your like your average American deli roll. I was heartbroken when she said they were out. I changed to tacos. When I hear my name called and she informed me her dad found one last bolillos (bread). As I anxiously awaited my sandwich I felt like a giddy little girl. Mr Castanada made magic in that food truck. He made a masterpiece and made a tasty memory come alive. It had perfectly flavored carne asada with avocado and pico de Gallo.

Superb Mexican food! We have eaten at an incalculable number of Mexican food trucks in California and a few here in New Mexico, We trie this truck of the first time this past weekend at the Bosque Chile Festival at the Hispanic Cultural Center in ABQ. The truck is humble, looking pretty much like any other food truck but that modest exterior conceals some of the best Mexican cuisine that I have ever eaten. I tried the Super Mexican Taco, it consisted of four double wrapped tacos, there is a choice of one meat for two tacos and a different meat for the other two tacos. In order to get a feeling for how well they cook, I selected one of the beef and pork. I was so pleasantly surprised thatch tacos are double wrapped and that they come with three sides: guacamole; salsa and refried beans. Each taco is overstuffed with a more than generous serving of succulent, flavorful, nicely spiced, gently cooked meat. The beef I choose had a lovey crust, indicating an excellent sear, the pork had a divine marinade that was just transcendent. It was like the best of come cooking meets a professional cook. Definitely look for this truck or even try them for catering, the staff is professional, courteous, helpful and modest. They helped me review their rather generous menu and answered all my questions fully and happily. The menu is vast and typical of a Mexican food truck, and they also can make Chinese food if someone in your party is in the mood for something else. This shows a great deal of versatility as well as an understanding of how to serve customer's actual real-world needs. I like this truck and will be looking for them when I'm in the mood for some very yummy Mexican food.

The barbacoa tacos were excellent had to take off a star as I ordered chile cheese fries with easy cheese and chile and it came FULL just a soggy mess but they were really busy so she may not have heard my request ;)

Just got done chopping on some carne nachos. They were highly satisfying after getting slammed bar tending all afternoon during the world cup. I was deliriously hungry, and hopelessly wandering around Nob Hill. I followed my nose and ended up here, For the price the nachos can feed two starving large humans, or three of me. I pawned them off on my boyfriend, who was also stuck working this holiday. Carne was a little chewy but had good flavor. Nachos had orange cheese, caramelized onions, pickled jalapeí±os, house made refried beans(I think?), and good dollop of sour cream and some slices of avocado. Food was between a 3 and 4, and hell they deserve a solid 4 just for- being open, and feeding me during a national holiday. Not much else was, and who wants to go back into their own work and eat(after you finally get out of there). Not sure if they take credit cards. You can get a sturdy meal for under 10$. I do not think tax was included.
