This is a fun place and a great way to spend time with rescue cats. All of the cats are available for adoption. You pay an entrance fee and that allows you to hang out with the cats for about an hour.Catopia is very clean. There are tables and chairs and also benches to sit on. For the cats there are lots of toys and places for them to rest comfortably spread out through out the space.Food is limited to prepackaged snacks; howver there is a large collection of hot and cold drinks. I had a bottle of black cherry cream soda that was delicious! While there were approximately 15 cats in attendance, most of them were resting out of site. I did see four sleeping in various places and my partner and I attracted two carts to play with us using one of the "fishing pole" toys.We will definitely go back. It was a pleasant, relaxing place and this is an easy way to support rescue animals.

I visited this place and it's awesome, with many cats to interact with and perhaps choose. I understand that cats should be indoor, especially in a city, but the person working there is wrong about a "city ordinance" prohibiting cats from being outside. I read the ordinance. It prohibits pets from being outside your private property without a leash. This is the ordinance:9-2-2-2 HOUSING AND RESTRAINT STANDARDS FOR MAMMALS AND BIRDS KEPT ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY.(A) Leash Law. All Animals, other than wild Animals not owned by any human, must be restricted at all times by either a Secure Fence, a Secure Facility, a Secure Enclosure, secured in the back of a pickup truck, inside a vehicle with proper ventilation, or be on a leash no longer than 8 feet long accompanied by a person able to control the Animal. So you can have a cat or dog outside in your yard, but they cannot stray from it unless you have them on a leash. I wish she would get that right, because it causes confusion and misinformation.UPDATE: Apparently they are changing their tune about cats having to be only indoors but I'm not removing my review because I was told there was a city ordinance that cats must be INDOORS, which is false. I don't need a lecture on why cats should not be allowed to roam off private property. I understand that. But I don't appreciate being lied to.

Like 20 people there including their kids that was out here would not be alone. I feel like they definitely should’ve had a limit on how many people are allowed in the building at one time there was like five cats for 20.

I had the best experience here and had to give 5 stars across the board!Amazing job to this team wonderful cat cafe for having such powerful mission and impact on the community and for all cats!I love that they work with local shelters, and give the cats another chance to find a forever home. I will gladly support this business.Anyone and everyone that works here has been such amazing help. They are all so knowledgeable and friendly! So feel free to ask all the questions you can!I was nervous about being a first time cat owner, with an autistic child. But everyone here made it such a positive experience for my family, and I will always be grateful for it.Yes, we did find our forever cat here and everything just worked perfectly. There is an application process and varies depending on the shelter that the cat came from. The employees also made this an easy process! They also have some snacks, cold and hot drinks that you can buy here as well. It is a small selection because of our furry friends around. It is perfect though to be able to hang out with so many fun cats in a friendly and positive atmosphere!Thank you from my family and myself!

Lovely, clean place run by folks who really care about cats. We made an appointment for when the place opened at 11, and there were definitely plenty of kitties awake and having a ball!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my adult life. After losing our family cat two years ago, we decided to go to catopia to revel in the feline energy. Finally excited to add a new member to our family. My son is Medically Fragile and took the loss of our cat very hard.We do have additional members in our family such as our dogs, but nothing can truly ever take the place of a loving family cat. The woman who initially greeted us was warm and friendly, and even gave us a discount on one member of the family entrance fee. What an amazing and happy, so I thought experience this was going to be.I sat at one of the tables as the children pondered over three potential candidates. How exciting to see them smile and laugh. I filled out the application, and after many discussions, the children had finally decided on the cat that was going to be a member of our family. After I truthfully, answered the application and turned it into the lady who had initially helped us. Things went South!I only want an indoor cat, but was truthful about having a sunroom dog door that entered into the outdoor garden. According to her, this was a dealbreaker, and I was going to have to let the kids down, knowing that we weren’t going to take the cat home that they had decided on. The woman continue to argue with me, belittling me, and making me feel as though I was not a loving home for a furry pet. I ended up, driving home with two crying children and a heart racing with sadness. This was an act of discrimination. Not only to a dog owner, but to a child with autism. The emotional effects that had on my son were very difficult to work through that evening. I had expressed to the lady that the cat would be an indoor cat only! The cat would not be outside, and if we were to attend the backyard with the family, the cat would be supervised. The lack of consideration, an approval for adoption for an elderly woman who was there at the same time I attended catopia, in a wheelchair, and the potential risks there were baffling! This is what fueled my fire to be upset. The potential for an elderly woman in a wheelchair who is not ambulatory to properly care for a cat seem to be much less than a family who has had cats previously and knows how to care for multiple animals.

Relaxing atmosphere to play with the cats, the owner was great too. They take care of things to ensure the cats are living happy lives.
