I was at Char recently for a birthday dinner with the family. The atmosphere is as described: cozy and intimate with soft lighting. The enchiladas were delicious and savory. However, what surprised me was the long wait time and inattentiveness from our server. Several times we had to wave for attention. While there were many positives, the quality of service tainted our experience on a special day.
I was pleasantly surprised by how exceptional everything was at this restaurant — from the perfectly cooked steaks to the attentive service and inviting atmosphere. The attention to small details truly makes this place stand out. Every bite was full of flavor, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome, and the restaurant itself is beautiful and comfortable. Honestly, this might be one of the best steak experiences I’ve had in years. Highly recommend!
Great vibe, excellent service and the food was good however the portions were SMALL foe the price. Sides were not included and the service didn’t tell us that. Don’t come super hungry and/or order an appetizer (or two :)
