Chello Grill is amazing! I am very happy to have an exceptional, local Mediterranean grill serving delicious and super fresh food. I love how I can sample the condiments, I love the protein options, and I appreciate the friendly service. I've been here 5 times to eat now, and I appreciate the consistency in the food and service! Thanks!!

Surprised I had never heard of this place before. Took my wife while shopping as we wanted something fresh and not to crazy heavy (greasy). Figured Mediterranean is the way to go! This was the best service I have had in quite some time. Food was great and the place was so clean! They did a great job
Recommending items and let me taste test numerous sides. My wife was really happy with her dish. I had the #2 plate which had shawarma and something else I can’t remember the name of. It was all excellent. Will return

Friendliest of service, fresh gyro served quickly with good flavor on a sizable pita.

Nice clean place big enough for party of any size.

Good prices very fair for today’s inflation.

Chello is short for Chello-Kabob, which is Persian for kabob in plural in forms of lamb, chicken, beef both ground and whole. This Chello has chicken and ground beef, otherwise known as kubideh, which in Persian means pulverized, or ground up.

I had both, and the kubideh was by far better than the chicken. Along with basmati berenj (rice), it was great. Wish we had tahdigh, and somagh.

Also has sides of Fesenjoon, Ghormeh Sabzi, lentil soup and Mirza Bademjan.

The doogh was a nice touch, albeit was not carbonated, which would have been a delight.

All in all, a great place, will be coming back for sure.

Everything is delicious, with the best seasonings, but the stand out was the hummus. I wish I had brought a gallon of it home.

Whenever we are in Albuquerque and have errands to run near Chello, we inevitably end up going there to eat. Employees are always friendly and welcoming there. If are you curious or uncertain about a food item, they will explain it and offer a sample. The food is fresh and delicious. Across visits, we've had almost everything on the menu and we have never once been disappointed. If you're there on a Friday, absolutely get some fesenjen ( there is a vegetarian option which is just a good). There is also koobideh on weekend days and it's great. The fries are excellent. The hummus is amazing and reasonably priced compared to what it costs at the grocery store ( and far better). The shaken tea is great.

Don't miss out on the rewards program. It's pretty generous compared to what you'll find at many restaurants.

Food was sub par. Tried different things and nothing tasted well.

We enjoyed a tasty lunch while out and about shopping. I also noticed that Chello offers free food (chicken tenders and fries) to children under 16, while SNAP benefits are unavailable during the government shutdown. What an incredible and generous way to support the community.

Why have I not been here before? Their hummus is the best I've eaten. Ask for a taste of heaven in a spoon! Friendly staff and clean casual atmosphere.
