Friendly service with a history lesson! During my first visit to Church Street Cafe and Old Town, I was treated to a history lesson from several servers AND the owner regarding the property and the area. The food isn't a side note either! My enchiladas with green Chile was delicious and the chips and salsa were phenomenal!
Food was lukewarm at best, our waiter was hardly around, and when he was he was kind of rude. Had to ask for our sopapillas that were included with our meal because the waiter didn't pay attention to our orders. Would not go back again. The space itself was super cute and very cozy feeling with a live guitarist playing.
Church Street Cafe was more than food, it was an experience. They have an amazing atmosphere with cool New Mexican decor and live music. The service was really good, too. The food came in generous portions and they bring out sopapillas for a delicious dessert. The tacos we had were good, but not amazing; the meat was a little dry. But everything else was top notch and we loved our time there
