The Original Cocina Azul

I was in town for business and Cocina Azulejo came highly recommended from local team mates.

I can say 100% the best food I have ever had on any trip to Albuquerque. I had the Carne Adovado burrito smothered in green chili and it was absolutely amazing. Our server AJ was amazing as well, he made excellent recommendations and was right there any time we needed something.
I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for great food in a great atmosphere.

We came from Texas for New Mexican Mexican food and Cocina Azul did not disappoint. Our chile rellenos were so good and the calabacitas a pleasant, healthy surprise as a side. The atmosphere was a traditional New Mexican cafe which is just what we were looking for. It was very busy with long time customers so we understood the service taking time. We'll come back!

This place is awesome. We got chile con queso to start, which was delicious. We had a combination dinner and a sopapilla pizza with carne adovada for entrees. Both were delicious, but the sopapilla pizza was incredible. It was a great experience, and our server was really good.

Food excellent! The waiter Brendan was not good , He needs to be trained to listen to the customer and not run off. He never checked on us. It seems he was hassled to help us.

They give you big portions and not real expensive. The service is friendly and prompt our server was amazing. You need to go here if you are in town

Quite honestly some of the best food I've ever had. The service does a good job is just they're so busy it was hard to get attention sometimes but they work hard so tip them well.

?Top Rated Reviewer? You won't be disappointed! I was visiting and there was a short wait, so a good sign! The staff were very attentive and the food was served exactly to order. I have a jalapeño ?️allergy and had no trouble getting dishes without them. The margs were great, especially recommend the watermelon! ?? I'll be back!

Great food, wonderful customer service! The sopapillas were amazing.

Very disappointing lunch at this location. 4 in our party and the service right off the bat was sub par as was the food. Rationing butter and having to get up to get what we need since our waiter had an attitude the entire time. Won’t be back again. Gone downhill…pay attention to details - used to be good, getting too big and losing quality

Wait staff informed us ‘if you’re looking for something not spicy then you’ve come to the wrong place’. Gee thanks. Would have been nice to know that before deciding to eat there. No other options nearby so we decided to try it. Average food with below average service.
