Cocina azul was amazing! My family and I were very pleased with the food it was honestly one of the best we’ve eaten not only in Albuquerque but from our home town (El Paso). Our server was Alex, and he was one of the best who’s ever attended us. He was very polite, friendly, informative and over all the best. My wife and I are on vacation celebrating our birthday and he gave us amazing places to check out. If I can rank this restaurant any higher I would. I highly recommend checking out the restaurant and hopefully Alex will be your server! Thank you Alex!

I had a taco salad. Best taco salad I've had in a very long time. Everything fresh. The house margaritas are AWESOME.

Very good! This is the 3rd location I've gone to on a visit to ABQ. Great! The carne adovada is delicious. And the sopapillas were fresh and super hot. Staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

The food is consistently delicious but I've noticed that when I order the carne asada fries, they tend to be stingy. Last week I place an order to share with a friend. Hardly enough for one. Other times the account is perfect. I guess it depends on who's preparing the food. The service at the Holly location is superb! I usually only order to go, but the staff go out of their way to make sure all is perfect. The bartender is always very nice! Thank you!!

Came to have breakfast because we heard about y'all on the radio. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Sopa smelled musty and was more like a roll than a sopa! My grandma got an omelette and the hash browns were hard along with my pinto beans! Food did not taste as fresh as it could . Waitress was nice though! Probably never going to return…

We had a lovely dinner on the porch of Cocina Azul, enjoying the nice weather. The staff were attentive and accommodating and everything was tasty! My spouse and I both got chile relleno plates--I got the carne adobada and he got the chicken. The thing I love about cocina Azul is that their chile rellenos actually have OPTIONS that involve MEAT! most restaurants in town serve cheese filled rellenos with red or green but that's it. This is way tastier, more filling and hearty, and didn't give me horrible heartburn. The breading was a bit eggy in an incredibly delicious way, and everything blended great. The red and green were both good--I can go even spicier but the flavor was what you want. Super good.

For the sides: basic but tasty. I thought the calabacitas and the rice were just fine, my son loved the beans, and the papas were really nice crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.

If you are having a hankering fo a chile relleno, go here!

I've been 3 times so far. I had the carne asada fries- add jalepenos of course, then the combo plate and then the asada fries again. Would go again, maybe 6 months or so down the line.

The food was good, and the service fine, but the atmosphere was cursed. They were playing music from a smart TV on youtube. They did not have youtube premium so we were forced to listen to ads, the music was too loud, and would modulate in volume unexpectedly, and to top it all off, they were playing *music videos* that were inappropriate for the settting.

We had two lunch specials: crispy tacos and flautas for $22,04 (see the receipt), not including tip. Two issues: the meat was dry and chewy in both of the plates. Also, the guacamole was made with uncooked onions. Beans were good.
