Wow! This was by far the best stop for food in Mew Mexico. The service takes a little time because the restaurant is busy but that’s clearly because of how great the food is. The menu is exemplary of New Mexican style cuisine, a fusion of the flavors of old Mexico with the unique regionalisms of New Mexico and the US influence on the recipes. The avocado toast and waffles were excellent.

I rarely leave negative reviews comment and I never imagined I would write when about Cocina Azul. I’ve been a loyal patron for years, and after our experience on Super Bowl Sunday I won’t be returning. What we witness is both disappointing and disheartening.
The way the owner treated the staff was unacceptable, and it became painfully clear that the loyal customers aren’t valued either. Working in a customer facing role myself I deeply appreciate great service and that’s always been the reason I supported casino Azul. Their staff is wonderful and works incredibly hard, but I can’t continue supporting and establishment with the owner bullies employees and takes advantage of patrons.
It’s a shame to see a place I once loved loose side of what truly matters

Tasty food, my issue is with the experience I had the night previous - I drove up and they were closed for a private party on a Saturday night. No indication of this on their website, and no human answering the phone - it just texts you a link to order online. Tried to go to the other location on Montgomery as per the website, but it is permanently closed! Work on some better communication please!!!

Cocina Azul is always good! The Carne Adovada Enchiladas were very tasty. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town.

This used to be a wonderful restaurant featuring full size meal entres and excellent New Mexican flavors. First of all, we ordered food online and our sides were missing. The rib- eye steak in the tacos was over salted and over cooked, and lacked the caramelized onions. The size of of the tacos are now miniscule and tear apart the minute you pick one up, and the extra-small and thin tortilla doesn't allow room to add any condiments. They used to at least double the tortilla. Very disappointing! Also, the burrito in the Burrito Plate is half the size it used to be. The other sad thing is the expensive price. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The food was good but I placed an order by phone to pick up, and when I picked it up, I guess I should’ve checked the order before leaving the restaurant, because when I got to my destination, things were missing one person‘s whole lunch was missing so I was very disappointed with that, The thing is I’m from out of town. We were eating at a friends in town, but I didn’t want to drive all the way across town again,to solve the issue and get my friends lunch, I already had driven across town to pick it up and had a long drive home, so poor thing she had no lunch. 🙁

Don't go to this place. The service is terrible and the food is tasteless. The Michelada was flavorless and the beer tasted bitter and burnt.
The food is so dang good and like mom made. The salsa hot, Fideos so scrumptious, Posole very tasty The Cook great job. Sonya so kind and treats everyone like family. 👍

Not a family friendly atmosphere but service was outstanding. The sopapilla was pillowy and stretchy with just a tinge of sweetness. Sopapilla as a side can be requested but it’s not on the menu. We also appreciated the vegetable options, especially the calabacitos (zucchini, squash, corn mixture) taco salad, served in a crispy taco shell bowl. Sizzling sound and aroma of the fajitas was also tempting.

Was kind of disappointed with this one. Service wasn't amazing and we found a hair in one of our meals and nobody really seemed to care.
