Ordered Cinnamon Vanilla Bean French toast only to be told upon asking, after receiving, that they no longer serve it with the decadent vanilla bean sauce! So it's just French toast! Change your menu or add it back on. I feel cheated!

Service was good. My chicken sandwich was dry and sweet potato fries were too crispy. Ordered a Negra Modelo and it had an expired date 2 days from today. Our bill was over $100. Thought it would be better. Not sure we'll return unless we get a comp next time. Thanks. Appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Been here twice this past week. The first time was amazing. Evelyn is just fantastic. We are going to ask for here from now on. Food was great two. The second visit wasn't quite as good. Our waitress seemed a bit put out a first, when our queso came out as a solid lump, old and cold, and we asked for a new one. The seemed to be another couple of small annoyances too when we asked for thing, but she seemed to warm up by the end. The reast of the food was fine.
Another few visits to the Councilroom. Food has been consistently good as has the service. A solid choice.

Been here many times. This last visit we ate both breakfast and dinner. Food is always good. Both our servers this time were good, especially Zac. Good atmosphere. A good middle ground sit down restaurant between the some of the other walk through eateries and Bien Shur. They have a good and varied menu complete with steaks, Mexican options, Lobster and pasta. The have the best dessert anywhere with a carrot cake cheese cake. Always a solid option.

My husband and I went there for the first time today and we are definitely going back. Jessica was a great server...patient, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. The food is beyond amazing. My mom is from New Mexico so I grew up with her cooking that food and know how it should be done. I ordered the blue corn green chile chicken enchiladas with pinto beans and papas. The pinto beans were seasoned just right and weren't mushy. The papas were also cooked perfectly. The serving of enchiladas was so big, I had to take the rest home. They also come with a tortilla or sopapilla. I got the sopapilla....so big, so yummy. My husband ordered the green chili meatloaf with fries. Oh my goodness...the best meatloaf anywhere! It wasn't greasy or falling apart. Had a nice char around the edges. The demi sauce was perfect too! His fries were crispy not limp or greasy either. Then we shared the hot chocolate custard pie with walnut crust. Rich and decadent! It was a nice little splurge for us foodwise but didn't break the bank.

Had an evening meal. Food was quite tasty. Southwestern flavor. Service was over and above awesome due to our server Nicki. Kuddos to her for doing such an outstanding job of anticipating our needs

I would not refer to the Council Room as a steakhouse. We ate multiple meals here and the menus offered a wide variety above and beyond steaks. We ate here for a dinner, two breakfasts and stopped in one evening for dessert and coffee. In each case the food was very good. The breakfasts, in particular, were very generous portions. The excellent staff - Pricilla, Jessica C., Jessica L., and Nisai - all made our meals just that much better with their efficient service and their friendly, welcoming personalities. We would eat here again in a heartbeat. The good food and great service at the Council Room really added to our stay at Sandia Resort and Casino.

This was a bad experience for me. The posole was made with corn starch to thicken it up which is not traditional way to prepare. The beef tacos had potatoes in the meat which is just a cheap way to save money. The tamales were mushy. I am disappointed since this restaurant in the Sandia casino would represent Native American food , but this was not the case. Waitress was slow and didn’t check on us to refill coffee. The deli in the casino has much better food!

The breakfast food came quickly but the bacon was very crispy it would have been nice if they would have asked us how we wanted it because it was not that good crispy to the level that it was almost burnt and falling apart. It was like that on the side and in my burrito so maybe they were just trying to use up some bacon that had been cooked too much
