Not family friendly unfortunately. The food is standard but the ambiance screams more bar than anything else. We went for early dinner service and the service staff treated us like we were out of place and waiting for the drunks off Central to come in instead. With Fan Tang down the street, I’d opt for there instead.
Kid-friendliness: Do not bring your children here.

The food was excellent! The sushi was tasty and delightful. The place itself had a nice cozy feel that exemplified the low lit ambiance of the restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience; however, I do wish that my server was more welcoming and had better customer service. She was rude and tactless. I could get her name but she was blonde and had glasses. If you go. Do NOT allow her service.

Walked in at 8:20 they said we close at 8:45 when it said they close at 9pm 🤷🏽♂️
I have had a great time eating the food at Crazy fish, however the service is not attentive to its customers. As well I have had a few dishes just not come with things I ordered. The atmosphere is not very professional and water glasses were left unfilled

Godzilla Roll and Edamame!
The server was amazing. She was super friendly and worked swiftly, tending all the tables pretty much by herself.
The food on the other hand must have been the worst Japanese food I've ever had. I usually only leave reviews from places I really liked, but this one warranted a bag review.
Spicy Tuna Roll had super old and stale rice, tuna would have been fresher if it came from a can, there was pretty much no tobiko on top of the roll. It was slightly better than the €5 sushi from ALDI supermarkets.
Miso Ramen broth had zero miso in it. Miso doesn't look that dark, and it usually settles. Every Asian knows the Naruto style imitation crab is a sign of a bad restaurant, but this one wasn't even sliced properly. They were about 2in thick. They're supposed to be very thin. Ramen noodles were of poor quality.
Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box - no teriyaki on the chicken, it was more like boiled chicken. Salad could have come from one of those salads in bags from Walmart purchased weeks ago. Sushi was cut and filled super irregularly, and again the rice was stale and not seasoned.

I ordered the Godzilla roll and it was just too messy. And they put A LOT of sauces on top so you lose the flavor of the roll itself. I don’t recommend this place.

I usually come here during lunch but last night I visited and the service was horrible.
The server/ hostess helped the line of door dashers then she continued to skip me when dining in customers came in. I had to tell her that I have been waiting to be seated and I was next in line. Her response "o yeah, I saw you standing and didn't know what you wanted". Like what the heck? Unfortunately she was my server and again it took her so long to get me water and miso soup. Another 20 minutes to get my order then another 30 minutes to get my food. Sushi was alright, at that point I lost my appetite. My server took so long getting me my check. I didn't leave a tip at all. Not only that but I have diarrhea from the food today.

I stood at the door for more than 10 minutes making eye contact and trying to get anyone’s attention before they even acknowledged I existed. A simple “hi, we’ll be right with you” can work wonders
We had a great lunch. Our server was super cool and the food was very good. Good food that is well priced. Hard to beat that!

Second time coming here and it was fabulous. I enjoyed the fried salmon skin rolls and caterpillar and got huge portions. Very satisfied and satisfying. Highly recommend!

Ordered food online, the sashimi was so thick and big each one of the pieces could have been cut up into 9 individual slices. Normally I would not complain about such huge portions. But I feel sashimi has to be thinner because these were so big I pretty much gaged on each bite. The chef must have been new. Pretty much gave me a whole fish each bite.

so on the positive, the service was very very good. now on to the food, it had been several years since i had been there so why wouldn't i go back because it was very good, WAS being the operative word.
i ordered the tuna sashimi and squid salad. the tuna had an artificial color to it and no taste. the squid salad was just OK. i have never left food at a sushi restaurant. i was served 7 pieces of the tuna and i only ate 3
i was so disappointed, doubtful I'll go back.
