If you love the flavors of the Mediterranean, this is your destination for a magical experience. Everything was perfect. The cocktails were delicious and subtle, I had four of the Aloi, I tip my hat to the bartender. My friend and I shared the Tiropita for an appetizer, it felt like having dessert before the main entree. It was a wonderful combination of either feta or cream cheese with a delicate flaky filo dough. My friend had the steak salad and he was overwhelmed with the perfectly seasoned and cooked steak and the balance of salad fixings...he said it was one of the best meals of his life. I had the grilled pork chop, which was huge and exquisitely seasoned to absolute perfection. I chose the feta mash potatoes and the grilled asparagus, a fine accompaniment, so delicious! One of the best meals of my life! The waitstaff were attentive and fun, they humored every request with a focused sincerity. If you enjoy fine dining, then you must put Dorothea on your map...brace yourself for excellence.

A comfortable elegant interior. I like the candles. I went for happy hour in the bar and the candles on the tables were very pretty and made it look very elegant. I just can't find very much on the menu that I want to eat. I wound up having the lamb meatballs and they were kind of dry and tough and crumbly I guess because it was lamb. Very limited happy hour drinks and no happy hour food although there are shareable plates.

The Greek plate starter was plentiful and yummy. The lobster mashed potatoes are amazing. My second visit there, I ordered a side of them as my main. Very good cocktails.

I can't believe people have left this place negative reviews. This place cannot do any wrong. The food is over the top amazing to me the price of a reasonable they give you a small portions which is great because small portions are packing it with a bunch of cheap pasta. The employees are nice to the almost to a fault. Can't wait to come back again

Very limited menu and not that Greek. More American steakhouse than anything else. They really need to expand on ethnic cuisine or change their name. Reservation needed to be in the nicer section.

Observed table next to us be brought out their to go entree seconds after their steaks were brought out instead of closer to when they finished. This was at 8:17 and server said it's because the kitchen wanted to close. They close at 9. Also was sweeping around two other tables that early also. They claim they are fine dining, but in fine dining world both these things would be egregious behavior.

We've been to Dorothea multiple times and each times is better than the last! Wait staff was very knowledgeable, service has improved, and food is always fantastic. Excellent cocktails (Manhattan was killer!) and starters. Lamb shank is always really delicious and their specials (both food and drink) have been great each time. Recommend calling ahead for a reservation.

One of the best restaurants in Albuquerque! It is absolutely amazing. The food is fresh, and there is passion in every dish! The decor is on point, and drinks are innovative and creative using fresh ingredients in every single thing on the menu. It Tastes like a little piece of grease. The only Greek salad I’ve had that reminds me of Santorini. It’s clean staff is friendly and I always have great service. I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

Went to the restaurant tonight for the first time .
It was a very wonderful meal I had the lamb lollipops, with Greek fries. My lady friend had the clam and the saga naki, and we had the crab mound app.
We bought a bottle of wine.They have a very nice and intimate wine list.
It was a wonderful meal. The only thing that threw me off was a heated baklava, which was good, but the heat they were karmalized the sugar and cinnamon.
And that was the only thing that was very different from what I grew up eating.
All in all, it's a wonderful experience.I will be back and recommend it for all.

Jacob is always smiling and brings incredible positive energy to every dinner or round of drinks at the bar. He’s attentive, thoughtful, and consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome making the experience at Dorothea exceptional! The cuisine, cocktails, and desserts are top-notch, consistently prepared and always served picturesque.
