It's the place to go for purified water and ice sculptures. True alkaline water if you're interested in the real thing.
Shop no longer sells Hawaiian ice, but has the best water in town. Only open Wednesday 11-5. There is self serve with outside access, which accepts cards & coins (no paper)
I’m sure that their purified water is great, but I’ve been waiting for the perfect warm Wednesday to go in and try a shaved ice and maybe a hotdog. I was pretty disappointed to find that they only do purified water now. You can get the party pack of snow cones still, or get a cone at a Lobos game, but that’s it. The website also says they sell Hawaiian coffee, which I was also going to look at—also a no go.
This place is part of my childhood. The Goat?? Try the Obama or frog in a blender.
This is my favorite place for sno-cones we travel from the whole other side of town just to get them.
I fell for Dakine ice when I was pregnant and they had mobile location on academy and Wyoming. Their ice seems so much smoother than other places and their syrups are absolutely amazing. Both my children had their tonsils out and both of them say it was an amazing experience because they could have Dakine ice. Everyone in my family is not impressed by Bahama Bucks because it pales in comparison.
Yum!!!! What a treasure!!!! Who knew this little inconspicuous place was filled with such deliciousness!!! The strip mall its in has seen better days that's for sure, doesn't look like there is much going on there but Dakine is well worth the stop. I had my usual Hawaiian ice stand by....vanilla ice cream on the bottom, shaved ice with cherry flavor and condensed milk or "cream" poured over the top. A large ran me $6 and change honestly, best $6 Ive spent in a long time on a frozen treat. They have soooo many flavors and combinations though, something for all tastes, even toppings if you're into that. Seems that they have decent hours too. As far as seating goes, a few chairs with no tables inside and about 4 chairs out front of the store. Not to worry, i ate it in my car....sure glad i did because i got it all over myself, so totally worth a red stained shirt!!!! I will definitely be back. Oh and they sell bottled water (from little bottles to large ones for the dispenser) and a few hawaiian canned drinks and novelties as well. If youre anywhere even remotely near this place give it a try, heck, even if you're nowhere near this place make a special trip bruh ....you won't be disappointed!!!
This place is awesome I recommend it to everyone that is looking for a quick snack and a good sweet refreshing drink. The shaved ice and nachos are bomb. Tabatha is amazing. She helped me find exactly what I wanted and was so so pleaseant. Thanks Tabatha!!!
Very good food and prices... Staff and owner are very nice... They have a huge selection on flavored icee and other menu items are good to... Pull pork is very good but only on Friday Saturday so make sure to stop in and try it
I.M.O this is the best place to get shaved ice. Excellent flavor choices. Friendly staff. Definitely a sweet treat!

Great tasting water. Just sad I'll have to find another place to get my alkaline water at the end of November. Owner won't be selling water anymore.
Great price for shaved ice and great service. Helped us great with everything I needed which is a lot of shaved ice because i got a prego lady who loves it and needs it and bahama bucks wasnt nearly affordable
Love the shaved ice and there flavors are the best. I'm sad that they will no longer have a store to visit.
I won't buy my water anywhere else. Why would you buy a gallon of water for $1+ when you can get water purified by osmosis and without a bunch ofadded chemicals? Plus it's less than half of what Smith's, Albertsons, and Walmart charge.
