Damacios Bar & Tapas

I had such a wonderful experience at Damacios! The brunch was absolutely amazing, every bite was delicious and perfectly prepared. The mimosas were just as impressive, fresh and flavorful. The aesthetic of the restaurant is beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing meal. On top of that, the service was quick, attentive, and friendly. Highly recommend Damacios for anyone looking for a great brunch spot in New Mexico!

Went to Damacios on an impulse, and was extremely pleased. There were numerous tapas to choose from. The fried pickles were amazing. Allen was an excellent server and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend visiting

Our first time dining here for a girls brunch. The food and drinks were delicious. The prices are reasonable. Our server, Colton was attentive and friendly. We had a great first experience! 😁

Ate at Damacios downtown tonight. Beautiful restaurant, perfect weather, and the patio was so nice and relaxing with the waterfall.

We both ordered the Chicken Aldine and it was delicious! Best chicken dish we've had in Albuquerque.

Allen was our server and was on top of our service and the most friendly waiter you could ask for. We were worried about going due to reviews about the service but Allen exceeded our service standards and so did the food. Perfect date night!

Didn't get pics of food but it was presented nicely but more importantly was delicious. Try it out & ignore the reviews! Ask for Allen as your waiter if he's on shift too. Highly recommend.

Honestly a missed gem. Food is affordable and has tapas and main dinner options, they have very cute booths. Alan and our chef were both great!

I will start by saying the food was excellent. Empanadas, on point. Maybe one of the best Bloody Marys I have had on abq besides Sharkey's. The open faced breakfast sandwich with red chili was delicious, I could stand to have more eggs, but I'm an egg guy. The service left more to be desired. We made reservations and without being asked were seated outside in the sun. The first spot we were almost given was all sun, and I asked for a shaded spot. There were plenty of spots inside and around the outside corridor with shade, an odd choice. I did speak with the manager and we were promptly moved inside. After being moved, things went down. We sat for a long while before being approached for the first time, with the question, has anyone helped you, I'll be helping you today. Then downhill from there by our server. Everyone else that brought the food, drinks or just passed by was way more interested in customer service than our server. I would go back for a Bloody Mary, but I'll pick somewhere else for service.

I would start with service, but they didn’t, so I’ll go to the food. It was delicious and had fun twists. The atmosphere was… great, but full of a few hazards like door streamers on the floor and having to duck under a lamp to sit in the booth.
Which was a weird experience in and of itself since our friends had made a reservation and they first tried to put us outside in the full sun , despite several tables open in the shade and our friend had asked to be moved inside, which was what was wanted in the first place but was not asked about.
It wasn’t busy but it wasn’t dead, but we still had to wait a long time for our server for everything. There was a way more attentive and polite helper/runner to our server, but otherwise it wasn’t a great overall experience.
