The hostess did not greet us at the entrance, she picked a table for us. When she brought our drinks she immediately asked if we were ready to order, when she never brought the menu. I found that very rude. The music in the kitchen was too loud, the chicken flautas were old and taste less without cheese, the women restroom's were closed. At the end of our meal we asked for food to go, and the waitress brought a small paper bag. In fact the costumer service is awful. I personally don't recommend this place.

I am from Atlanta, Ga where we have many authentic Mexican restaurants inside and outside of the city. I was visiting Albuquerque and was taken to Delicias Cafe in hopes for a “home cooked meal.” I ordered las ‘enchiladas suizas’ and they were amazing! So flavorful and not dry. We also decided to try ‘tortitas de atún’ that came with a lentil soup and an amazing salsa aside. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 10/10 and definitely go back anytime I return to Albuquerque.

The food is great, the bathrooms are way too small for the size of the business.

Plates any mortal man would struggle to consume. One thing I have always enjoyed about a traditional Mexicano Restaurant is the size of the plates. I spent a great morning with Buelo and Buela enjoying the music and food 🥑!

I've eaten here twice now... and WOW. The moment you walk in, the smell is like a spell on your senses... imagine the cartoon scene when a ribbon of aroma makes it's way across the room to your nose, and suddenly your lifted off the ground and your nose carries you to the source of deliciousness.
I’ve had the Sopes and Pozole. Both were dishes friends suggested… If I could just steep myself in that bowl of and soak in all the flavors. It was fresh and warm, and so flavorful.

I ordered sopes and it was really good the side of caldo de res which is included with the sopes is delicious, but the music coming from the kitchen was loud , too loud and not everyone enjoys the same genre , I personally don’t like norteñas especially when I’m trying to talk to the server who by the way had at nice smile.

This cafe was recommended to us by a hotel staff member while we were traveling. The food was exceptional! The decor was very nice as well. We were very happy with the suggestion!

Updated 12/7/25 -the food quality took a turn for the worse the last 2 times we’ve eaten here. Everything was either super salty or very bland. Service not great anymore, and we were seated at a dirty table. Probably won’t be back. We expect more - especially for the price!

2019 - Service was excellent. The food was very good. A little pricey, but we’ve gone back.
