Very cold temperature in the building I was told their maintenance guy was working on it as we were leaving. Wish i had known because we would have chose elsewhere for breakfast. It took awhile for the food, was told that the system crashed and they had just got it fixed. Manager was seating someone and told them it would be at least 30 min to get their food. Our server Angelica was great Waffle was dry and stiff Eggs and meat were cold Would not recommend this location on San Antonio Drive

Me and my husband had a went to eat at this restaurant earlier yesterday morning/afternoon, Food came out slow but was nice and hot but me and my husband had absolutely horrible service by our server Jonell manager was so kind to fix it and apologized about everything but one thing that absolutely shocked me was Jonell our server talking about her manager to a customer but couldn’t check on her other customers. I thought it was absolutely disgusting behavior and I’d love the opportunity to reach out to a corporate number to complain. Over all experience was just OKAY do better dennys we love coming to eat here!

This Denny’s visit was embarrassingly bad and absolutely requires corporate intervention.
The first issue happened immediately. The coffee mug brought to the table had a lipstick stain on it. That should never happen in any restaurant and shows a clear lack of cleanliness and quality control.
The table ordered the Country Fried Steak meal, and the steak was literally mush on the inside. Not tender, mush. A country fried steak should never have the texture of paste. It was completely inedible.
The Lumberjack meal was just as bad. The ham was extremely salty, the hash browns were burnt, and the pancakes were burnt on the outside but raw in the middle. It is unbelievable that a kitchen would serve plates in this condition.
The only good part of the visit was the waitress Jonell. She was kind, attentive, and professional. When the issues were mentioned to her, she handled the situation immediately and fixed what she could. She is not the problem. She is the reason the situation did not end up even worse.
Based on what multiple people at the restaurant said, the cook is supposedly the boyfriend of the manager, and if that is true it would explain why nothing improves and why the quality is allowed to stay this bad. Whether that rumor is true or not, it is clear that the kitchen has no accountability and it shows in every plate that leaves it.
This location is failing at cleanliness, food quality, and kitchen oversight. Until major changes are made, avoid this Denny’s because it is absolutely not worth the time or money.

Crazy...we were put on a wait because the staff had to eat. I get we need breaks. But to stop service because you need to go on break is wild. Y'all need to figure it out. Never in my life ive been told to wait over 30 minutes to wait for the cook to finish eating.

It’s supposed to be open 24 hours. I came by at 3:00am, the place was empty aside from 2 employees. When I parked my car, the server came outside and told me he’s going on lunch so I could come back in an hour, but turned me away.

It’s a smaller Dennys so at peak times you might not get a table quick. It’s clean. Food was good. But not as good as I usually expect. $38 satisfied 3 people. Plenty of New Mexican themed choices green chili, green onions, green peppers for those who want those fares. The chorizo omelet was very good but we shared snd both had uneasy stomachs afterwards. We took half of it to go but tossed it just in case. My wife thinks it had been reheated or day old.

What a pleasant surprise! This Denny's was clean friendly smiling service! My order looked just like it did on the menu which rarely ever happens. Everything tasted good my coffee always stayed topped off and my server Gabby was exceptional. Even with as busy as she was she maintained a calm collected confidence and moved with experience and grace. I hope other customers leave five star reviews for this wonderful server. And also one of the better kept Denny's in the nation!
