The whole dining experience was a delight.

The most archaic ordering systems awaits you after you enter. The food took forever and was honestly okay but I won’t go back as it’s nothing special.

REVIEW UPDATE FROM 5 to 1!

While waiting and talking with friends I saw who I assume is the owner or manager berate 2 different employees making them visibly upset. This was within the span of 30 mins. It is inexcusable for anyone to be openly disrespectful like that (especially to the sweet woman doing her best working the register alone in a lunch rush) and I will not be returning based on this alone.

The sandwiches and service has always been great but there is no way I am putting money into the pocket of someone who yells at those who work beneath him.

DG’s is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had …. But it finally happened. You know how sometimes you leave McDonalds and find out they didn’t put the fries … should’ve checked. But it was worse and I didn’t find out till I got 20 miles away. Ordered three different sandwiches, was told they don’t offer one although it was on the online menu …. OK no prob, ordered a different sandwich and extra cheese. That sandwich didn’t make it in the bag but a duplicate of another sandwich I ordered did …. And it had extra cheese.

First time there. Ordered a Pizza Steak without pepperoni. Born in Philly and never seen pepperoni on a steak sandwich. Asked for fried onions and they charged me extra without telling me even though they saved the cost of pepperoni. D&G is too greedy for me so I won't be back. Food was good and is expensive.

If you had carefully read my review you would have understood my comments and not had any difficulty in understanding my review.

I didn't NOT get pepperoni on the pizza steak I ordered. I ORDERED MY PIZZA STEAK WITHOUT PEPPERONI BECAUSE PIZZA STEAKS SHOULDN'T/DON'T COME WITH PEPPERONI ON THEM in the cheesesteak world. That you choose to include pepperoni on a pizza steak is uncommon and unique. On a pizza, yes. On a Cheesesteak... NO.

By asking to NOT put pepperoni on my pizza steak D&G saved that expense, I was surprised to be charged for grilled onion, but wasn't told I would be charged, which is a commonly included item on a cheesesteak.

D&G's reviews seem to be taking a down turn lately so rather than question the validity of a bad review take a look at what is causing them?

7/25 To the owner...

Against my better judgment I decided to give D&G other try.

Bought a $14 sandwich and was charged $.30 for a cup for water without being told. Anyone that goes to D&G be careful they might charge you extra for dining in.

D&G's arrogance is only exceeded by their GREED.

And to the Owner... this is a TRUE review of two disappointing experiences at D&G Deli. I wont's waste my time or money giving D&G a third try.

My boyfriend loves this place, it’s usually his pick. he gets the Italian grinder. I think its tasty too. The kitchen staff are always on it & work well together. unfortunately the cashier isn’t the friendliest but minimal interaction can be obtained by ordering online. we have went a couple times here in june & its very hot inside. I hope the staff is staying fresh through this heat!

Lil lady w glasses at the front is Very rude, Unpleasant.

I ordered a BLT today and… honestly? Just bleh. It’s literally FOUR ingredients and they still managed to mess it up. Look at the photo — where’s the tomato? A BLT without the “T” is just a sad bacon sandwich. Totally underwhelming, lazy presentation, and zero care. If you can’t get the basics right, why even bother? Do better.

Disappointed 😞 And I love sandwiches 🥪 I went in around 1:45 pm and the grill was backed up. Totally understandable but I was told when I got up to the counter and was convinced (I think because the woman just doesn't have any patience) that the Albuquerque Turkey would still be good. It was not! It was piled high with bread... toasted bread. You know the kind that may cut the roof of your mouth. After I removed the extra layers of white, maybe sourdough bread, it was fine. The other sandwiches may be much better!
