Diaz Kitchen & Sushi Bar

Seems like a locals spot as no one told us to get our own soup at the bar until a customer told us while we were leaving. Not a single staff person spoke a full sentence to us. The food is decent and service was fast enough. The vibe inside is ‘K-pop cafe’ mixed with generic ‘American sushi restaurant’ decor, complete with table side art that cannot be cleaned regularly. It’s a casual date night at best. It would make a great work lunch break or after hours snacks. This seems like a local spot for regulars who the staff acknowledges, because they barely acknowledged our existence!

I came here the other evening because of the high reviews. I was quick to get a table and the service here is so incredibly friendly. I ordered two rolls but neither were very great, the fell apart and the fish was slimy. When I go back I’ll try different rolls.

Went there for dinner on a Wednesday. No problem getting a table at around 6. Service was great. We had the Kanikama roll which was really good. Had three Nigiri which were good but for a few of them the fish was just sitting on the rice and not really incorporated so it was almost impossible to eat. We will go back.

Great little sushi restaurant with good vibes. The guy was super nice. He was working solo, so it was understandable he took a while to get to us. But when he did, we had a good conversation and the food was great! I got the shrimp tempura roll and a seaweed salad. It was good quality and plated nicely.

We waited 40 mins until we got asked if we wanted to order. I had already placed an online order through the app 35 mins prior to him asking. I walked up to one of the staff at the bar and he said “it’s not ready yet” about 5 mins before the app said it would be ready to be picked up. I stood there for a while, watching the staff talk to the other customers before I was finally approached. I told him “we been waiting for our food for a long time” he responded “I know I apologize, are you ready to order?” I told him “I already did order a long time ago” he said “you did? What did you order”. To be asked this 40 mins after we walked in here is crazy. We walked in right after another large group got here little bit before we did and they had already ate and left while he got nothing. I asked for our drinks at least. Who knows how long it will be before we even get to eat our food and leave. Never eating here again. I would have went somewhere else to spend $60

Probably the best sushi I have ever had. Fast service good and clean environment. If you like citrusy food get the lemon sushi special soooo good!

The food here blew my mind. It was so good. I had been in town for 2 month and was craving sushi. Very happy with the whole experience.

We’ve been here twice. The sushi is excellent and great presentation! We also had the monkey balls appetizer which was delicious. The service was superb. Friendly and attentive but not intrusive.
