I had a bad feeling about are waiter when I walked he served like normal but the food was pretty good the price tho we counted up and it should've been 45 dollars and my mom is a math teacher so when she tried paying we gave hi a 8 dollar tip but when we payed he added the 9 dollars plus another one which made are toaltel 62 dollars and we only orderd.a fried rice bowl and sushi ! Don't trust him.

We love this place! From the intimate and charming dining room to the fresh food and incredibly hospitable chef/owner Mr. Diaz himself. He made our son's 12th birthday very special today. Thanks for staying open late for us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am honestly surprised how many 5 star reviews this place has because our meal was mid af. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but the food was low quality and past it's prime. The gyoza was barely cooked and looked like it had freezer burn on it. The avocado on one of our rolls was browning. Just overall not good, especially for what we paid.

I’m only leaving a review here because we are in the central area. Try finding a bathroom here almost impossible walk into this place as to use the restroom and they said if you’re paying Customer so we bought a Coke can you believe that they would get a whole lot more if they were just because they have no idea who’s walking through the door but anyways just want to thank this establishment for letting me buy a Coke and using the restroom I would stay away from this part of town just saying

Best New Mexican style Sushi Bar you have not been to yet! If you loved the Sushi King that used to be in there, you would love Diaz Kitchen & Sushi bar. I got the 505 Roll and was not disappointed. Large portion, New Mexico Chile, some heat and amazing presentation... see the picture! For the best New Mexico style Sushi place.. go to Diaz. Manual the host and chef made me feel welcome and made the best Sushi roll I have ever had. Don't miss this place if you are visit from out of town. A NM twist on Sushi!

Amazing service, welcoming even with our young children(11 month, 5 yr). Attentive to details and helping to our baby that he became friends with the server.
Love the caterpillar roll! And the ginger is always really good

Seems like a locals spot as no one told us to get our own soup at the bar until a customer told us while we were leaving. Not a single staff person spoke a full sentence to us. The food is decent and service was fast enough. The vibe inside is ‘K-pop cafe’ mixed with generic ‘American sushi restaurant’ decor, complete with table side art that cannot be cleaned regularly. It’s a casual date night at best. It would make a great work lunch break or after hours snacks. This seems like a local spot for regulars who the staff acknowledges, because they barely acknowledged our existence!

I came here the other evening because of the high reviews. I was quick to get a table and the service here is so incredibly friendly. I ordered two rolls but neither were very great, the fell apart and the fish was slimy. When I go back I’ll try different rolls.
