Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This place used to be delicious and our go-to for bbq. The last 2 times we ate there were not very good. We thought maybe it was an off day the 1st time, but when we returned, it was even worse. They didn't have any food that we wanted, no ice in the ice machine, no condiments, and when we asked for extra bbq sauce, the young girl was so rude. Hopefully, the 2 guys that used to run come back the 2 ladies working there aren't doing a very good job.

Ice machine was not producing ice, reported to staff, but no action was taken. Meat, generally good, but chicken was a little dry.

I need to share my horrible experience at this location. I went in for dinner and ordered takeout. The total for my order was wrong on the POS machine. I tapped my card and didn’t realize it. No receipt. I told the young lady , Kyeesha, and she rebooted the machine and recharged me. The next day I found an incorrect charge on my bank account. I went back and Kyeesha and Julie said they couldn’t help and the Owner Hamel could help. The machine had charged my card for two transactions. I called and text him but he didn’t help. He kept making excuses. I even sent a picture of the incorrect charge. I even wrote customer service and no one helped. Beware of this location. The food wasn’t even that good. The turkey tasted fake and very processed like from a can. the chicken was too salty. Not sure how this crook Hamel stays in business. Maybe by glitching the registers to make extra money. Don’t go there!!

Bad experience since walking in the door. The floors were sticky. Their drinks weren’t all in service. The small drinks didn’t have lids. Nearly every chair in the place was wobbly.

The place is wonderful. Food is very tasty and the service was so kind and quick. Specifically, I would like to shout out the employee, I believe is named Edgar, in the morning. He works alone and right at lunch time he is slammed but is timely and kind, even with the stress of the rushes.

The food was great. But I ordered the ribs, and got chicken. But it was still good, so no complaints. Best fried okra I've ever had from a restaurant

Dickey’s serves pulled pork/roast and markets it as brisket. Pictures might show brisket, but that’s not what you get.

Most disgusting place ever!! The meat looked old. I got so sick after eating here. There was a huge centipede walking around in the restaurant. There was no ice. So ghetto the owner brings ice from his hotel room.

One employee working. Ran out of silverware, plates, to go boxes. Literally everything to run the business. The one employee working did not care and simply was just turning all the customers away complaining to them about how his managers "suck". The one employee working did not even know how to offer a refund. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Happened on August 3rd @ 6:00pm for owners to know who is responsible

Do not tip, if paying cash then yes!! Tip. However if paying with a credit card, do not tip Amit Patel keeps all the tips when he’s not even the one doing the actual work. That is stealing from the actual employees who are doing the work! What a disgrace of an owner!!

Love this place. Staff is friendly and kids eat free on Sundays. Great day for that family dinner
