I am clearly a person of color. I went to this location a few days ago around the lunch hour, but there were only a few people in the restaurant. I ordered a family salad and asked for a bottle of salad dressing. Oddly, the Dions employee (white) told me that they don't sell bottles of dressing (the website says they do). I sat down to wait for my order. The same employee took the order of the white man who was next up. Not only did she sell him a bottle of dressing but offered him a glass of water while he waited. No, she did not ask me if I wanted some water. These types of interactions make it difficult to return.

Long time Dion's customer, this chain of restaurants have some of the best customer service of any similar restaurant, the employees are both kind and courteous. Unfortunately the quality of their pizza has really dropped over the years, enough that I've purchased my last one from them. Their subs are good and so is the salads but their main menu item, pizza is about par with conveyor belt pizzas even though they're cooked in a pizza oven. Sad because it's hard to find decent pizza and if it's made on a conveyor belt it's garbage. DIons only does that to pizza by the slice which I highly recommend avoiding, a waste of $$.

Just went through the drive through and received the wrong soda, that was supposed to be diet. I explained to Tyler who was working drive through that I believe I received the wrong soda and it was important I had diet due to being diabetic. Without hesitation he got me a new soda and even made sure it was diet! I appreciate his kind gesture and no arguments regarding the situation as I've experienced in the past at other places. The staff working there always makes sure that it is a good experience.

I wish I could give no stars because this location sucks. I was very happy to find out a Dion’s was opening right next to my house but every time I have gone here my order has been wrong, very late, poorly made, or a combination of all three. The last time I went here, my wife’s 10” pizza came out 40 minutes late and then my roast beef sub was nasty. I cannot remember a time going here or anyone of my family members going here and having a good experience. I will never go back to this location ever again! There are plenty of other restaurants right next to them. Whoever runs this restaurant is not doing a good job because the location down the road on Unser is good and what you’d expect every time. I will be eating Dion’s a lot less in the future!

For some reason this location always messes up orders more than any of their locations. It’s always we can rush it but unfortunately people can’t just come back or we are waiting longer in parking lot for them to fix the order. I asked for no olives and the sub was gushing with olives. Attempted to pick out, Picture attached is only a quarter of the olives picked out. Picture attached to show I indeed asked for no olives. I get people make mistakes but the reoccurrence is frustrating especially because Dions has ways been a favorite. Yes they offered to comp but still sitting here without dinner. Do better.

Dion's is always a must when you go to Albuquerque. Some of the best pizza you will ever eat if you like pizza with ranch. They have some secret recipe or something that makes it amazing. If you are in Albuquerque you better get Dion's. The meatball sub is fantastic and the pizza is just in another level it's not crispy like Dave portnoy likes but it's so damn good.
