Excellent club sandwich and good service at the bar and several pool tables which were very nice to play on

Below average bar, with dive bar prices. (Beer was under $4!). The pool tables are decent condition and there are 2 dart boards. This place only impresses people that are born n raised here (imo).
My complaints are at the genuine lack of care. If you want to escape the Burqueno misery do not come here. I tried calling ahead to ask a simple question. The number listed on this google maps site, at least for me, did not complete as dialed. So I went in person to ask. When I arrived the signage was not on. Literally no indication this place was open, despite me arriving 2hrs before close. When I got in I was greeted semi quickly, given I was maybe 1 of 2 paying customers. The beer was like your mom, quick n cheap (no complaints ;). But when I informed them I tried to call ahead to ask a question regarding the karaoke advertised here and the number they have listed seems to not work, they said I should check my phone (the most 505 response). I then asked my question (when the karaoke was, and whether DDs under 21 were allowed in)((ends at 12 btw))(((and they do not allow anyone under 21 in))). To be honest I was ready to drink and the lady asked if I wanted to close tab before she asked if I wanted a refill. Kinda lame. All in all a 5Outta5, truly Albuquerque experience. The music playing outside the Albertsons next door to deter homeless was better selection and louder than the zero music in the bar. There are better bars in town with karaoke. Wouldn’t be surprised if this place adds to the growing laundry list of the many locally owned bars/restaurants that are all going under soon.
All in all if you want a cheap beer and pool this place is decent place to commiserate with the few dwindling locals that they serve quickly, and will defend this place until it inevitably closes

Good hearted people here, tough but fair as you can expect. Friendly while you still know your limits. Don't ever mistake an Albuquerqian's kindness for weakness; behave and this is a great spot to mingle with local legends.
Food was delicious! Definitely a hole in the wall.

Not bad for a neighborhood bar, especially when they have bands

Great staff, awesome atmosphere
Sandra is the best bartender in the world!!! And if you ever get a chance to try the kitchens Talls menu a definite, plus my favorite is the pork chop sandwich. It’s a hell of a deal as well as as the club sandwich and if you don’t try it, you’re missing out.
Great music!

A bit of a dive, but not in a bad way. Karaoke is a good time. Didn't try the food, but it smelled hella good, and the atmosphere and staff were great.
Trash. Don't bother.
The bad kind of hole in the wall
