You know why American is great? Because immigrants can come here, work their asses off and try to enter middle class. The American dream is alive at Dragon Wok. Sure the place is messy and orders get mixed up or are late. But man, the food is amazing. Old school American style Chinese. Love the Egg foo Young. Fresh and tasty. To the reviewers hating on the young boy who is helping his family at the front counter. Kindly kick rocks. I'm willing to bet somewhere in your family tree, someone came to this country and figured out quickly working for someone else is for suckers. They brought the food of China, Indian, Poland, Italy to this country and busted their backs so your entitled ass could bitch about this sweet, shy hard working little boy. Shame on you.

Dragon Wok is in the Sycamore Plaza off Academy Road in between bárre3 and SuperCuts in the small business area across from PetsMart. There was no greeting at Dragon Wok when I walked in. A young child, who I would estimate was around 10-12 years old and hanging out in the lobby, eventually took my order and worked the register. There were three adults working in the back of the restaurant; I'm not sure why a child was working the front. The $9.99 lunch special came with the entree, a choice of soup, an egg roll, and a fortune cookie. My soup selection, the egg drop, was quite thick and served in a to-go container with wontons on the side. I didn't enjoy it, nor did I eat it after two or three spoonfuls. The egg roll had an odd taste, and I didn't enjoy that either. The orange chicken entree was served in a to go container. After dropping off the food without a word, I never saw another employee again. I believe the "fried rice" was actually just brown rice with a few veggies mixed in. Like the egg drop soup and egg roll, it was not enjoyable. The orange chicken didn't have an appealing taste, and the chicken was overcooked so it was somewhat dry and tough. My plastic fork couldn't spear some of the pieces because of the toughness, so I had to use my fork like a spoon. I ended up tossing most of the meal in the lobby trash. As I left, I was also ignored. Given the poor customer service, no greeting or ordering from an adult employee, unappetizing/poor tasting food, toughness of the meat, and to-go containers for dine in, I would never spend money at this establishment again. 1 star is generous.

Small hole in the wall restaurant, mainly take out. Greeted warmly and were nice. The dining area is small and they have no plates, bowls or cups to eat there. They will use styrofoam to go containers, dixie cups and plastic to go containers for soup if you try to eat there. I ordered Hunan Chicken. The sauce was not very appetizing, and barely spicy. The flavor of the rice wasn't great either. The highlight of the meal was the broth of the wonton soup. The egg roll was well cooked however, but still bland and hot mustard tasting. They only have packaged and not good tasting soy and sweet sauce packets as well as hot mustard packets. They brought out tea and gave me a tiny doubled up dixie cup. It may be cheap for lunch but not the best tasting Chinese food in the area.

Food was pretty good. Large portions. You gotta use the sauces to spice it up. Good prices. Clean. Good service.

First of all, when you walk in you hear them speaking a different language and anyone who knows knows that that food is going to be bussin. The customer service is absolutely phenomenal! Employees are attentive the moment you walk in the door, they don't crowd you like right away but once you've taken a couple of steps in they've already made eye contact and they're ready to engage in conversation or assist with your order and that is really great. The food is fire. I really love steam buns and it's hard to find some good steam buns around town, I've only found two locations that serve them and they're really good. Dragon Wok is one of those locations. The actual lobby of the restaurant isn't super fancy but it looks nice. It definitely has a comfy feeling and it's not too crowded either so if you are claustrophobic or have social anxiety, there's a reasonable amount of space in the lobby for not only just waiting for your order but also if you're going to dine in. The prices are also reasonable. I feel like some people might look at the prices and complain but realistically you're getting really good quality food for that price and that food could easily be more expensive. These people know what they're doing and they deserve every penny that they charge for that food. There is also pamphlets right outside the restaurant with the menu on them. I think this is also helpful! I like this place, I like the employees, I like the food, the customer service is amazing, the food is amazing. The only way you'll be disappointed is if you're an uncultured swine.

Went to try their cashew chicken. The entre came with soup, egg roll, and fried rice. Hot and sour soup was delicious. Egg roll was average. Fried rice and cashew chicken was delicious. I need to try more entree. A good place to get Chinese food. Authentic food.

best place ever for Chinese takeout. Their portions are huge so you can save the left overs for another meal. They are a family locally owned business. You can tell by the quality of their food which they make fresh everyday. I'm very impressed by this place and it is my go to for Chinese take out!

Placed an order for pick up at 4:25pm told to wait 45 minutes. We show up and ask for the food. They never wrote down our order. We reorder and say we’ll wait. It’ll be ready in 10 minutes they said? 10 minutes go by and go back in and again they said they needed more time. It’s 6pm by this point and they want to see our order. I’m still waiting as of 6:51pm
