Hidden gem, if you’re looking for good BBQ and sides these guys are not joking around. Constantly drove by without stopping by and finally decided to try it out and glad that I did. My new bbq spot in ABQKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

The pulled pork was ok and plentiiful , but the bbq sauce was too sweet. The fried okra, however, was good.

I would give more stars for the atmosphere if I could. The restaurant is clean, quaint and very nice. I was not expecting such a nice environment. The customer service was excellent. Staff is very nice. The food is amazing. Definitely one of my new favorites. I got the two meat combo with brisket and turkey and my teenager got the brisket and sausage. It was so delicious. Brisket just melts. The sausage was flavorful and perfect as was the turkey. I love the spicy and regular bbq sauce. Everything came out piping hot and so delicious! Definitely coming back ASAP.

Stopped in tonight to sample meat needed for a catering event because my other go-to BBQ place was unavailable. I'm so glad I did because they did not disappoint! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender and had awesome flavor. I found my new go-to for BBQ. Estevan and staff were very friendly listening to my banter about good BBQ. I can't wait to have them cater our staff meeting. Highly recommend!

Place is clean. The meat is fatty and gross, no flavor at all. We ordered two 2 item combos. Both pulled pork items and briskets. The meat in sauce seems old and thus thus drenched in sauce. Beans, zero flavor. For Albuquerque, that is no bueno! Potato salad may come from walmart.I brought it all home and will feed it to my grateful pups. The attitude of the cashier and meat dude is a clear example of the rest of the experience and results served. Very poor. The chain BBQ outlets are better.
Had the pulled pork and a pair of jalapeño tornados, and it floored me. So far this is the only good pulled pork I've had in Albuquerque - Whole Hog Cafe, take notes. Tender as could be, but not overcooked, and the jalapeños wrapped in thick-cut, superbly smoky bacon. I'll be coming back to try a turkey leg, no question.
