Disappointing $60 lunch. While the dishes photograph well, they had no flavor. No sauce, salt, pepper, real chiles, garlic, or pepper. I don’t think they even use oyster sauce. We were clear we wanted traditional Chinese food and ordered off the traditional menu. We asked for spicy and nothing was. Even the table chili oil smelled bad and was not spicy. We ordered Chinese broccoli and were told that they were out, but upon leaving a Chinese family had just been delivered a huge plate of it and many dishes that looked totally different from ours and were not on the menu. The fried fish was clearly from the freezer and the fried pork was fried in old oil. This place might have real Chinese food but they are only serving it to people who speak Mandarin . We will continue to go to Red Chili House instead. Their food is 100 times better and they understand spice, ginger, texture, and chilis.

Always go here for Chinese New Year's. Been going since I was a kid. Staff is always nice especially to kids. Try and go multiple times a year. The prices are reasonable especially for the amount of food that is served. I only marked a higher price cause my family shares food and we usually ordered alot more then person to food ratio.

We decided to come here cuz the reviews where good but me my husband and infant walked in and we where just stared at not greeted or nothing we grabbed a menu ourselves cuz we wanted it to go and as we are looking we are not asked if we needed help then one waitress walks up to us and asks us if we needed something and my husband says he wanted to order to go and she rolled her eyes and completely ignored us and asked the other customers on the side of us if they want a table, we walked out after that very disappointing on how we where treated everyone in the restaurant was also just staring at us it was very awkward and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough we where so hungry and angry because there was no reason for us to be mistreated that way .

East Ocean is the place I go to when I feel like I need a hug, when I’m feeling too lazy to cook, or to impress any out of town friends.
The food is A tier - nothing like it in New Mexico and very much comparable to NYCs Flushing and Canal St fare. The cooks seem really passionate about creating the best Chinese food in town. And I absolutely love that they take lunch breaks to eat together.
If want genuine, high quality food with really friendly and polite staff for a really good price, this is the place.
Delicious fresh home cooked food. Loved every bite! Thank you!
We have gone a few times and absolutely love it.
Super cool staff, and delicious food!

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid as my grandmother’s house was very close. I have always been treated great and is my favorite place to get Chinese food.
Good food!
Will eat here again
My first time and we did carry out! We had the family meal with the shrimp scallion soup! My first time having shrimp scallion soup and it was amazing! I’ll be back for that soup! The hostess was very nice and remembered my name easily!
