Came in to have a drink and kill some time before 505 Food Fights. This place is a perfect example of an old school dive bar, the service is friendly and fast, the glasses are chilled and there's an old cigarette machine! If dives are your vibe, I definitely recommend this Effingbar when on the west side of town. :)

Me and my family where kicked out after being recommended this place for our first bar experience the moment we walked in the building the waitress and manager kept looking over at us they came to our table asking for our id’s 4 times mot even 5 minutes after walking in then after checking ours id’s they denied our service because mine and my girlfriends id was an ID(identification card) and not a drivers license there is no such law for this The waitress also seemed very out of it possibly intoxicated the service was the rudest I have ever experienced 0 stars

Me and my family were kicked out not even 5 minutes into our visit after being recommended this place for our first ever bar experience from the beginning the waitress and manager kept watching us and checked our ID’s 3-4 times within the 5 minute period just to then say we were denied services because my ID was an ID(Identification Card) and not a drivers license. There is no such law for this. The waitress also seems very out of it possibly very drunk or on drugs and the service was some of the rudest I’ve experienced.
