Went to El Molcajeton yesterday and received the worst service ever from the waitress. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and it was no where near closing time so her bad attitude was not because she was extremely busy and overwhelmed. She didn’t check on us to ask if we wanted anything else. She acted as if we were there eating for free or were bothering her. Her lack of customer service skills made it uncomfortable to be there. I understand we are all human and have bad days but personal problems should be left at home. The food was ok however I will not pay $20+ for breaded shrimp that looked like they were the frozen type you can buy at Walmart again. Tip is added on parties of 5+ so we were forced to leave a $30 tip but with the attitude the waitress provided she did not earn that amount. Overall it was a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend the restaurant.
It was just my experience 🤷♀️ maybe others might catch them on a good day.

Trip from Denver Co. to Albuquerque NM. Walking and I am happy to find this excellent restaurant! I am very pleased with the food, its seasoning and its service! Of course I highly recommend it, the food is exquisitely delicious and the service is excellent 👌 I will return without thinking about it again. See you soon!

All you can eat crab 🦀 buffet was outstanding and the service was very great. Definitely recommend
After having a decent meal with a great hostess whom was working so hard but with a smile on her face and such kindness towards us, I gave her a tip as my party and I were leaving when the owner came up to her in front of us and asked her how much tips she got. She looked embarrassed and handed her tips to him. Right in front of us!!

To begin with, I ordered a hot molcajete and received a little seafood and the molcajete had more vegetables than seafood and for the price I paid I left the restaurant with a man because I ordered seafood, not vegetables, but it's the first time that boy and the last

The food is bad, the taste has nothing to do with seafood, they give you vegetables ?↔️☹️ or else more flavorless broth with vegetables and no seafood, and the fresh waters are bad, I don't recommend it, apart from being super expensive, they tell you a price and they tell you They charge a more expensive one, I won't go back and I don't recommend it ?↔️ if you want to lose your money go ahead ??↕️? red pepper red pepper and onion no seafood and over price too bad for them ?

Came here for the first time and the food was fire!! The portions are filling. I had the molcajete mixto Del Mar. will be back for sure. Staff is super nice and helpful.
