El Palacio Imperial is a unique restaurant serving both Chinese and Venezuelan food. The menu includes Latin American Chinese dishes, which offer a unique flavor profile, as well as Venezuelan cuisine. The food is great, with highlights including perfect empanadas with flavorful fillings, a delicious shrimp arepa, tasty chicken pastelitos, and chicken chow mein with soft noodles. The won ton soup is perfect comfort food and the chicken dumplings are also loved. The dining area is really nice, providing a great atmosphere with very friendly service. Though sometimes not busy, it is a must-visit and a new favorite spot in Albuquerque.
