Here’s my honest opinion when it comes Salvadoreño restaurants in Albuquerque. This restaurant is #1 when it comes to authentic, taste, freshness and value. The pupusa’s are huge and delicious no other compares. Restaurant El Salvadoreño On Bridge comes in #2. Gobble This is in far last at #3, but this is only because their food is way overpriced coming at $20 a plate for 1 pupusa. I would definitely recommend to not try Yarling’s Pupuseria as bad reviews for that restaurant are 100% true.

Wayyyy overpriced. The food is good & simple. I love South American food… but 15$ for 2 eggs. banana, bean sauce and one tiny pupusa is rediculous. Went home and had to cook a meal after because the portion was so tiny. 1* Because the tap water they serve also tasted disgusting.
I love this!

Authentic Salvadoran food. They can improve their sweets (empanadas & nuegados, nuegados don't have enough yucca, and are extremely oily. Empanadas need to be made with ripen plantains.) Service is great. The stablishment needs a little more color, perhaps a touch of El Salvador. Overall a nice place for authentic Salvadoran food.
These are just like the pupusas from the motherland!
I would like to thank the workers and servers for the time and excellent service in every way, Danny and the 2 cooks of the evening on 6/23/24 are the best. They went on and beyond their jobs descriptions. Restaurants need to have more people like them.
