They are the best popusas in Albuquerque and the best Salvadoran food and the service is very friendly, everything is very delicious and the restaurant is very clean. We love going there. We have been going there for about 7 years. I recommend it 100%.

Best pupusas and service in the abq area. I've been to other pupuserias in the area, and their hours are inconsistent or the pupusas are just not that remarkable. HERE, both the food and service are always excellent. This a local, family owned restaurant. They have plenty of seating inside and offer fast services for to go orders.

They have great PUPUSAS, I would recommend the pupusas over any others I have eaten in Albuquerque restaurants. The Curtido (like a slaw) is excellent. Their food is authentic. A MUST EAT AT PLACE. This is a family run business and is not a chain store!!!!

Enjoyed the pork papusa cabbage salsa empanada and fried plantain. Fried yucca is an acquired taste and something sweet.

"Out of the ordinary" and authentic describe our fairly positive experience having dinner at this clean, basic, family operated El Salvadoran restaurant. We ordered a couple of different pupusas and tried what I think was curtido (reminiscent of a tart coleslaw). Don't be distracted by the modest environment (in a strip mall behind a Walgreens), just try to pretend what it must be like stopping for a bite while driving back to San Salvador after doing a little surfing in the Pacific at El Tunco, or maybe after visiting the Tazumal Mayan ruins in Chalchuapa.
