We came here on the recommendation of a friend. The food here was excellent. The salsa had great flavor and not so much heat to make it unenjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend the queso - it tasted and looked like cheese whiz. I ordered a chicken enchilada these were the best I’d ever had. The green chiles were great and this was probably the spiciest meal I’ve eaten in a long time. The one thing we didn’t appreciate was that our server brought us all queso with the salsa only to find out that the queso was not complimentary (it cost $3). The $3 wasn’t a big deal but it did feel kinda sneaky since no one had asked for it. That being said, I’d still recommend this place and go again myself. Great little place.

Oh and I’d never had sopapillas before. Amazing.

After a long drive, this hit the spot. We wanted New Mexico chilis and they did not disappoint. Very hot!

Ordered 2 enchilada plates with chicken. Cost, $45.00 plus tip. Outrageous. They charged $ 5.00 for salsa and chips. Most places serve complimentary. So sad. Not going there again unless I win the lottery.

The fish tacos I got were nothing special in comparison to their typical stuff. However, the "coleslaw" they advertise with it is just shredded lettuce with a couple pieces of tomato and onions. Basically, it's a tiny salad with no dressing. The other things I've had here have been pretty good and affordable. Just avoid the fish tacos. I thought they'd be pretty good because they're a Friday special.

The service can be hit-and-miss. This last visit, it started off solid, but then they brought us the check halfway through our meal. Thereafter, they borderline ignored us for the rest of our lunch. We tried flagging them down twice, but no luck.

The atmosphere is top tier, however. Overall, iz ok. ?

This place is fantastic! It's very near the university so keep that in mind. There is paid parking on the street or free parking in the back for customers. Parking in the back is tight though. There is both outside and inside seating. I usually get the stuffed sopapilla here but I also like the green chile chicken enchiladas. Their sopapillas are amazing!

We came here from a recommendation from a local and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in Rayn took care of us as if we were family!! Food was amazing he recommended dishes to us as we do not like too much spice. He gave us samples as so we knew what we were ordering!! Overall it was amazing and we will definitely be back when we visit Albuquerque again!!! Well done!!! Rayn you are amazing!!!! Thank you
