Old world charm. Sat in covered patio. I thought I would be cold but overhead heating kept us nice and warm.
What a fantastic meal! The place is huge! The food was phenomenal, the service was great. The whole meal was a success. Good food in a casual restaurant at a decent price. Will go again.
Everything you'd expect from El Pinto, an Albuquerque staple... Great customer service, great ambiance, and great food. Cheers!
Dinner at El Pinto is a unique experience that immerses you in the old Spanish culture of New Mexico. Great place to take visiting guests, and great service, as always.
Good food. Real corn tortillas instead of the worthless ones at most Mexican restaurants in New Mexico. Delicious enchilada sauce. Good service, hardly any wait. Fun ambience.
We had a group of six which included my 85 year old mother on a walker. We were seated in the back room of the restaurant where it was cold and too dark. The chairs they sat us on were metal patio furniture, which added to the draftiness of the back room we were seated at. Also, there was a cat that had run of the place. I understand some people love cats but there are also those who do not. The cat came around to our table a couple of times hoping to get fed but was only shooed away.
Our waiter was thoughtful, considerate, just wonderful! Dinner was PERFECT BEST sopapillias in Alb!!! Maggie
The food always tastes bland with not much flavor. Common new mexican food. Service is always slow and good luck getting a drink refill. The staff are always to busy chatting. I will say in the 4 times ive been invited now the a good experiance is jut not there.

Everything was great. Seomara deserves special mention. Her service could not have been better. She treated us like family.
Food is average, very overpriced for what they serve. Building is the best part of it. Lots of history, but not a current place to recommend.

My primary takeaway from this experience is that, despite the establishment's fine dining price$$$$$$$$, it does not deliver the corresponding quality for food or service. Caution is advised!
My meal was unsatisfactory, although some companions enjoyed their dishes. The service was lacking, possibly due to staff shortages, although the server was somewhat pleasant. The atmosphere was mediocre; while it appeared acceptable at first glance, a closer inspection revealed noticeable dirt and dust, suggesting a need for a thorough cleaning. Overall, this restaurant does not meet my expectations, and I will not return. In summary, it is VERY overpriced and extremely disappointing.
