Wait staff were so nice and checked often to be sure we were happy with food and drink. Food was delicious .
Celebrating an 80th Birthday. Everyone's food was good except for the Birthday guy. Huevos Rancheros had very little taste and the eggs were too mixed up in meat. Would not have ordered meat if he'd known that. Meal was disappointing for him. The dessert Flan was a nice gesture.
The food and service was great. However the area was freezing and they were unable to turn up the heat. We had to eat with our jackets on.
Have been to El Pinto countless times and always have great experiences. Last night for my birthday was highlighted by outstanding service from a young man named Charles. He was engaging, energetic and responsive. Thank you Charles!
My family and I have been going to El Pinto since the 70s! It is an Albuquerque icon for a reason! The service and food are excellent. Get the blue corn chicken enchiladas!
So, first we had reserved indoor seating as opposed to the patio. They didn't honor that and sat us outside with overhead heaters that were on intermittently. But, the inside had a strong chemical smell anyway. Our service took a very long time. Our guac came but we had no chips until our main course were served. The marg tasted like lemonade. And overall the food was mediocre at best. Will not go back
We were seated one room away from live music and a table or so away from a running fireplace, so the music being nearby but not really loud was perfect and the fire added ambience (and warmth) to the room. The food was great, as was the service.
The last 3 times (started coming back) the service has been amazing. Food is also hot and fresh each time I've gone. I always think it's loud inside and definitely not a spot to carry on a conversation with multiple people, but it could be I am just not liking loud places when I eat anymore lol. Otherwise, the ambiance is amazing. I will continue going back.
Wonderful place to bring a family group!! Great food and great atmosphere!! Caring service and good prices.

It took over an hour to get our food. We were there for a birthday that was not recognized by staff. Took awhile to order our food . I go to this establishment a lot and this was the worst service I have gotten.
Old world charm. Sat in covered patio. I thought I would be cold but overhead heating kept us nice and warm.
What a fantastic meal! The place is huge! The food was phenomenal, the service was great. The whole meal was a success. Good food in a casual restaurant at a decent price. Will go again.
Everything you'd expect from El Pinto, an Albuquerque staple... Great customer service, great ambiance, and great food. Cheers!
Dinner at El Pinto is a unique experience that immerses you in the old Spanish culture of New Mexico. Great place to take visiting guests, and great service, as always.
