ambience was nice, but my food was not the way I wanted it. I ordered the pork chops was not cooked while I was very disappointed, but I didn't say nothing. Otherwise everything was OK. The waitress was OK but they don't check on you too much often.
Prime Rib was the beef special of the night. I forgot to ask the market price which ended up being $96. We split it and there was an adequate amount for both of us. The beef was perfectly prepared (rare). We also split the duck croquette and steak tartare. All were excellent.
Overall everything was enjoyable. We were there to celebrate a birthday. The service, drinks and desserts were outstanding. The food, however, not so much. To eclectic for my palate. Wierd foamy sauce on my rabbit confit and extremely small portion. Tasted alright. The cut of the trout was different and it was undercooked. I've eaten in restaurants all over the world and welcome culinary experimentation, but this new menu doesn't quite fit New Mexico.
