A beautiful and light space with plants, crafts, and books. Still in progress, you can tell there’s a bigger project in the works. Yet, what is here now is categorically the most open and fresh restaurant in the area. The sandwiches are to die for and the service is quick. A lot of care is put into the ingredients and presentation. The menu seems to mix classic techniques with new flavor profiles. Will come back here when downtown and would recommend this place to anyone that likes authenticity and individuality.

I’ve been eating chile in New Mexico for 40 years —and chef David Swan’s red chile is so old school NM it’s by far, hands down, best red and personal favorite. Need I say more? Chilaquiles this am — so good 😋

The best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a long time! The chef is incredibly intentional about sourcing ingredients and investing into the community. The space is beautiful and really captures New Mexico culture. Highly recommend stopping in and chatting with the chef if you can. Thank you!!

Panicked white lady “loses” phone at local establishment. I am this white lady. I had dropped my phone under my car somehow. David not only made my lunch divine within minutes, but went the extra mile to help me find said phone from which I now type. Thank you David Swan! I heart ABQ :)

Some of the best food in ABQ! Local produce, freshly made and tastes amazing. Seemingly common menu items that usually have a unique twist to make them stand out. If you are wondering if you should check this place out, the answer is YES, DO IT!

Expect the real deal here. Organic and local ingredient burrito for 6$ !?!? Must eat here when in the area. A gem of downtown connected to the food justice movement.
Vegetarian options: It’s local and organic veggies - double Winn!
Parking: It’s downtown so there you go. Easy to pick up a to go meal though with no problem.
Kid-friendliness: Owner will accommodate kiddos with joy and ease
Wheelchair accessibility: Good access

It's different if you don't like to eat the same things. Tho the menu needs some tweaking for that location to get more business. And make some business cards with a lunch special on it and pass out to help get some word of mouth going. It's a good location and the food is good quality. Just needs a woman's touch maybe because it's a mans menu .I can say the soft homemade breads is a nice touch. Even my husband noticed his tortilla was fresh.

Awesome, fresh NM style takes on classics, putting local foods first. The Chicano (a NM style Cubano) was incredibly good. Soft but crunchy bread wrapped a hearty, cheesy, chile laden interior. The accompanying potato salad was tart and refreshingly crisp, with house pickles and red onion. A few pantry items available in-store as well. Check it out and support a local that's supporting locals.
