Delicious every time.
The mongolian sauce was great, it paired well with my fried rice. id recommend more chicken instead of more rice when the customer asks for just more chicken, but I was hungry so i ate everything anyways.
The best part of Fan Tang is the take-out kids dishes. The sit down dining is reliable. Our only issue is that the food tends to be greasy.
What a disappointment our visit was to Fan Tang this evening. The appetizers were good, but the Wonton soup had 3 wonton and the Garlic Beef was cold. Then we waited and waited for our green tea ice cream that never showed up. We left without even receiving it and unfortunately it was already paid for. Our waitress was very nice but she can't help if the kitchen staff is lacking. We shall not be returning to Fan Tang in the future. I do not recommend it.
Worst wonton soup (if it can be called that for $8.95 and 3 tasteless wontons). The bowl was full of mushrooms and some sort of gelatinous (also tasteless) mystery chicken (?). The appetizers were ok, but my husband and I are now home and both sick to our stomachs. You pay before you sit down, so no way to maybe get a break on the soup. We also ordered, also ahead of time, dessert green tea ice cream ($6.95) which took a ridiculous amount of time to come so we got up and left. Never again.

Food is OK but not for the wait .
More upset about the tip then having to tip the server as well.
It’s a nice place. The Lo Mein and the Singapore noodle was what I had ordered, both were really really oily. In the lo mein it was pooling below the noodles and completely coating the top of the Singapore noodle.
I love Fan Tang, I've been there dozens of times and always had something great... until today.
I ordered Singapore noodles. That's Mei fun (rice noodles or vermicelli) stir fried with curry, usually pretty lightly sauced. What they gave was egg noodles in a bland, eggy, almost creamy sauce, basically a thick ramen.
Far be it from me to criticize their authenticity, but Fan Tang needs to Google Singapore noodles cause this ain't it.
Place order at counter, they deliver it to the table. I had Ginger Chicken this time. It was quite good if you really like ginger.
Food is good at both locations, but the Central location is more roomy and relaxed for dining. Dedicated parking lot on west side.
Owen always has the best service!

All plates 3/4 rice to a quarter entree. Then only 2 meats to each entree. I only tasted mine , n lets just say I've had alot better else where.
My Sister and I had never been the Fan Tang's before, the food was delicious and the staff were very informative about the food and the hot teas. it is small but, a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back with our family.
These guys use MSG
I could feel the effect the next day at the gym.
Buyer beware
Heart attack on a platter
Honestly, I’m not sure what’s going on, but the quality has gotten consistently worse each time that I have to now convince my family to eat here since it is/was one of my favorite restaurants.
I love their wonton soup, it’s one of my favorite dishes in the city and the reason I go there, but today I ordered two bowls of soup and had a total of 5 barely recognizable wontons between the two of us. I’ll pay more if necessary, just stop messing with my favorite dishes.
In the past we’ve had issues where they are so busy, that my to go order sits on the counter for so long that it becomes a solid gluttonous mass.
The food is delicious, but it has become such a lottery in terms of quality and I am getting a tired of having to defend eating here each time.
We made a mistake and ordered at the wrong location. They took care of this and we are very grateful! Thank you!
