This is supposed to be a chinese restaurant, I saw no chinese especially cooking. They don't even have duck sauce. I got beef and shrimp lo mein that was over powered with ginger.

I don’t know what has happened to this place, the food quality is just not that good on certain dishes. Our appetizers came out fast and were delicious. We ordered a fried rice that came out over 30 minutes after our appetizers and the beef was horrible quality and I didn’t think yo could mess up fried rice but it was the worst I have had. The flavors were great but the meat was horrible and the rice was lumpy and the fact that it took so long to come out and it not taste good was annoying. Also side not if you’re going to offer wine you need actual glasses not plastic ones that fall over easily and look dirty because they are so cheap.

Time to wait for pickup was at least 30 minutes longer than promised on the website. Service was rude - customers waiting were repeatedly told to sit down as if the problem stemmed from them. Food was mediocre but slightly better than the service. Next time I'll try Orchid Thai. They are close by and it looks like they have a better rating.

I went in for take out on a Tuesday evening. Roughly 6 p.m. I ordered the egg rolls and the Sesame Chicken. Include a coke and there went 35 dollars. Frankly, that is pretty hefty. I wouldn't have been so bummed about the proce if the food had been fabulous. The chicken was overcooked and the sauce included green bell peppers and onion as though it were a sweet & sour pork dish. Weird. Anyway, I ate one egg roll, found it insanely dry and threw away the other. The chicken bordered on being inedible. I had expected, based on reviews from other locals, a completely different experience. Maybe I caught them on an off night.

First time at Fan Tang and pleasantly surprised at this neighborhood fave. Luv the laid back trendy feel and of course, the food! Try coffee chicken, delish. The cook, Jason, comes out to check if you enjoyed his menu. We did 😊
11/09/2025 Stopped in for some take out for 2 and a few appetizers.Took over an hour but the really bad part is it was cold! Like WTH, honestly the food tonight was Panda quality. I wish they would’ve at least let the customers know how long of a wait it would be. I don’t believe I’ll be going back.

The restaurant was a highly recommended by many people in Albuquerque to my son. We got the town lay and had a late dinner. I had a truly unique dish that I've not had at any Asian restaurant before. I've never heard of coffee chicken but it was absolutely excellent! Another highlight of the dinner was the way their kitchen handles edamame. Instead of simply steamed soybeans they seared it in a wok with soy sauce and other seasonings.

They have some white guy who is lost confusing orders ends up giving everyone else their orders mixes my order then turns around and tells the guy in the back that he didn't give him the dish and turns around and looks at me lost if I go there again I'll make sure he is not taking orders

I ordered lettuce wraps, and sweet& sour soup. I ordered through door dash. The food arrived cold, the lettuce wraps (brown iceberg), and the meat, I think it’s chicken but it was dry and tasted like cheap Taco Bell meat with lots of taco seasoning. I couldn’t eat it.
They absolutely suck they take forever been waiting for a call in for almost an hour. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Ordered a pad Thai with tofu and it arrived with chicken in it. Was able to get a refund on the order but doesn’t change the fact that my tofu pad Thai had chicken in it :(

We ordered for delivery and the staff ignored the request for utensils and plates. It was very hard to eat soup, noodles and entrees in the hotel without the utensils. I called the restaurant to remind them and the lady assured me she will include but not even a single napkin.

Just WOW! This was our first time and we are impressed! Feeling welcome as soon as we entered, help with ordering, and then amazing service with consistent check ins and timely delivery of our food. The best part, THE FOOD! I mean, flavor-on point, portion-perfect, cost-as fair as can be for some bomb food! Thank you Fan Tang! We will be back!
