We tried Huevos Rancheros and breakfast burritos, loved both. The staff is very kind and helpful. I had the mountain view while having my breakfast which was amazing. The outdoor seating looks very nice as well. We will be back.

Flat out fantastic. This staff truly cares and takes care of you. Don't see that too often these days.

Flying Star is a local chain in Albuquerque. The plus points are that the food is all prepared from scratch, the have fantastic baked goods (cake, pies, cookies) and they have an open, relaxed unhurried vibe. This is a great place to have a meeting with someone, which is what I did. The only negative for me is that there are few vegan items. I had oatmeal served with a lot of add-ons. (Sorry, no photo!) Next time I’ll get a breakfast burrito minus egg and cheese and it will still be delicious. Their red chili is excellent!

I got a salad with a dead cricket in it. Disgusting.

I went in yesterday and tried the Raspberry Lemon Tart. I am diabetic and don't usually eat sweets. Worth it 10000% The staff is friendly, and the food is good also.

I have been a loyal customer of the Rio Grande location for years, but unfortunately, the food quality has plummeted. My past three meals have been terrible - burnt chicken, spoiled vegetables, and undercooked rice. I had hoped that the poor food quality was an isolated incident, but after three consecutive bad meals, I am ready to walk away.

I normally love Flying Star, stopped by this location for the first time and was disappointed. They forgot part of our order and when we finally did get it the food was over cooked fish and chips were over salted. Coffee was cold. Customer service was not good.

The breakfast burrito was large and the brownie was rich. The flavors were fine. My cappuccino was fine. The staff was friendly, personable, and helpful. I liked the outdoor seating and the option to have Christmas on the side.

Called in an order for a banh mi sandwich. Was told my order would be ready in 15, 20 minutes tops. It wasn’t ready for at least 25 minutes so I had to wait.

I received what I can explain to be a bunch of food piled on top of bread. I had to eat it with a fork and knife. It tasted okay, but I was disappointed as I had ordered a sandwich and wanted a sandwich and did not get one.

The coleslaw was very good.

Feels dirty. Please wipe the area inside your circular booths. As pictured. I looked in each booth and the same thing.

My wife got her favorite Fish Tacos and I a breakfast burrito! Though the order had to be sent back because it had cheese on it and I ordered it without. But they got a new one to me quickly and it was quite good.
And the double chocolate cake was very rich but good! We shared it and it was plenty!
