We tried Huevos Rancheros and breakfast burritos, loved both. The staff is very kind and helpful. I had the mountain view while having my breakfast which was amazing. The outdoor seating looks very nice as well. We will be back.

Flying Star is a local chain in Albuquerque. The plus points are that the food is all prepared from scratch, the have fantastic baked goods (cake, pies, cookies) and they have an open, relaxed unhurried vibe. This is a great place to have a meeting with someone, which is what I did. The only negative for me is that there are few vegan items. I had oatmeal served with a lot of add-ons. (Sorry, no photo!) The breakfast burrito was large and the brownie was rich. The flavors were fine. My cappuccino was fine. The staff was friendly, personable, and helpful. I liked the outdoor seating and the option to have Christmas on the side.
