Flying star has a special place in my heart since high school when it used to be double rainbow. They have the best desserts and whenever I come back to Albuquerque, it’s a definite treat. I even signed up for their loyalty program. I love throughout the years that they maintained a staff that is always super down to earth and cordial tonight I picked up some desserts to go and the attentive young fellow noticed that there had been an error and fixed it right away. Not that they’ve ever gotten any of my orders wrong but I appreciated his attentiveness as I would’ve been super bummed to have received the wrong item. I do miss the wider variety of cakes that they used to have in the past, but they also did add some stellar new desserts, particularly the strawberry rhubarb because there’s no other place in the country where I’ve had a pie that’s managed to master keeping the rhubarb. I don’t know how to explain it al dente and it’s awesome. I don’t even know where the hell they find fresh rhubarb this time of year! Oh my God it still.

Amazing Food. My family has visited here many times and has made it a special weekend favorite. Lots of delicious menu items, holiday specials and dessert favorites. Great meeting place for students, small business groups and social clubs. Outdoor dining area is special, with a scenic view of the mountains. Great staff, fair prices and lots of seating areas.

Nice place, the atmosphere is good. Haven't had any food, but the coffee and tea is good - good selection of them.
