Order and pay at counter, they give you a number and will bring your order to you. Food is not consistent, maybe it depends on who is cooking that day (?) For example, the build your own omelette was delicious one day and below average on my next visit. The seasoned potatoes were crispy and tasty.
Whole place reeks of urine.

Not impressed. We got the breakfast burrito with bacon, the rise and shine breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and a blueberry pancake. The scrambled eggs here are unlike any form of scrambled eggs I've had outside of a quiche. I'm not sure if they whip them extensively first or what but they have a very airy, foamy texture which is off-putting.
For the burrito, it was filled with these weird eggs and just a long slice of bacon. The flavors were ok but we couldn't finish it due to the eggs.
The breakfast sandwich that was served to us was crumbled. The biscuit has fallen all apart and there was a tiny hint of egg and bacon and cheese in the middle. Very dry, underwhelming and sad presentation for my first impression here.
The pancake tasted the best but the batter was over mixed which caused it to be tough and dry.
The prices for their baked goods is ridiculous with $8.50-$9 for a slice of cake or pie. Overall, I wouldn't recommend.

Always a great time at Flying Star. This was my favorite place to work out of all of my jobs in my life. It was others' too, we would get over 100 applications a day at this location some days.

My boyfriend and I come here pretty often, but today we decided to make a quick stop to get coffee. Our cashier, Greg, made our visit pleasant. He gave us awesome service. Really funny, friendly and attentive. Thank you.

I went in for a burger as usual then that’s when i experienced the worst customer service in my life! By an employee named Lauren she was directly rude to me and her attitude was terrible. I will not be going to this location again.
After having a less than impressive visit to another Flying Star last year, I had no plans to visit another . But my wife had recently visited this one and enjoyed it, so we went together for lunch. The vibe of this Nob Hill location was better. The food was marginally better, but prices were still well out of line for what you get. It's less chain-y than , say, Panerai, but Neville not special enough to get a top mark.ot
We enjoyed the food! Not cheap at all but pretty tasty! Lemonade was great! Staff was very nice.

Loved it -- went for breakfast. The one on Central has neat atmosphere - route 66 updated. Varied menu with interesting choices. Mexican Latte was a nice sweet morning pick-me-up. I kept it simple with oatmeal, spouse had roasted summer pannini. Great bakery confections for desert.
Love the food and desserts but the prices have gotten INSANE. 20 bucks for a small sandwich and softer fries just isn’t the move.

Unfortunately, about a year ago this location laid off all the long-term employees. And over the past year the employee turnover rate has been wild.
Because of this there has been a serious lack of consistency for all dishes and beverages.
I've been coming here for years, and it makes me sad to see.
Hope this location is able to figure stuff out soon!
