The baked treats are absolutely delicious!!!! Got a scone, lemon shortbread cookies, oatmeal cookie, and molasses cookies! The americano was a bit weak, but still good!

My go to place when I don't know what to eat. Lol. Variety of delicious food with a chill place to work while you eat or have a cup of coffee (:

I arrived and met some friends before and event we were attending. I ordered light one person ordered eggs and potatoes and 2 others ordered sandwiches. The sandwiches still hadn't arrived 40-45 min later.

Flying Star continues to be a neighborhood staple, and experiences like this are exactly why. Chrisoula was an absolute delight—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I enjoyed my time there. She went above and beyond in every way, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and even shared details about their upcoming seasonal desserts, which made the visit feel thoughtful and personal. Chrisoula is truly a gem to both the neighborhood and the Flying Star team. Service like hers makes all the difference. A complimentary letter will be sent to management and ownership. Bravo!

Excellent alternative to chain restaurants with innovative seasonal items like corn chowder and matzo ball soup. The buddha bowl always satisfies the vegetarians. Not as cheap as fast food but great sit down food for the price.

I used to love this place but it’s really gone downhill. Got rid of a lot of my favorite stuff. Spent 20$ on a sandwhich that had a small piece of meat, bad green chile, made with cheap bread, and bad fries. The cakes aren’t too bad i guess.

One of our favorite places to visit when we come up to ABQ.

We ate there the morning of Christmas Eve. We were there about 11:00 in the morning and surprisingly the place wasn't too busy. We ordered breakfast and the food was very good. I also got a cherry pie to go and it was very good as well. The service and the servers were very kind and helpful.
