I went in yesterday and tried the Raspberry Lemon Tart. I am diabetic and don't usually eat sweets. Worth it 10000% The staff is friendly, and the food is good also.
I have been a loyal customer of the Rio Grande location for years, but unfortunately, the food quality has plummeted. My past three meals have been terrible - burnt chicken, spoiled vegetables, and undercooked rice. I had hoped that the poor food quality was an isolated incident, but after three consecutive bad meals, I am ready to walk away.
Counter could be a little quicker but food was out quick. Grilled mac n cheese was good.

Outside seating but you have to go in to order. Buddha bowl mostly peppers and over seasoned, fish overcooked and greasy.

Food was good. Service was great. Little manager on duty with long hair was very attentive and offered us a sample of the new dulce de leche cheesecake and it was just wonderful. I really appreciated the sample offered by her and her staff.

Decent. A little too expensive.
I love Flying Star, but the Central location has gone downhill. We went there to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was super depressing. Will not be back. The food did not taste and look good. The prices were too expensive comparison to the lack of quality at that location. The staff attempted to be friendly, but looked depressed themselves. Flying Star and Satellite restaurants are typically positive and have great tasting food. I suggest to move this location to a less depressing neighborhood. That might help. Central is not what it used to be, a student's happy place. Students spend more time taking classes online, so your customers are usually people that love the terrible Central atmosphere:(
We went the next day to Seasons52 to retry celebrating my birthday, on Menaul and Louisiana and had fabulous food. Our bill was the same as Flying Star, the day before. Please consider dropping your prices for all restaurants. Or, give senior and student discounts. Do something...
Thank you.

After talking to the Manager Lauren and the Director of Operations, it was refreshing how well they addressed my concerns about my customer service experience. Thank you for addressing this quickly, and I appreciate the kindness.

So yummy!
Studied here several times since I live a walk away. Mostly ordered pots of tea but decided to have breakfast once and was surprised by a thick breakfast burrito. You bet I enjoyed that thing. Waitresses/Waiters are good at what they do. Neat place.

This place ain't what it used to be. The "bahn mi" made with philly cheese steak meat was too weird. I haven't had a meal here I truly liked in years. The flavored iced tea and some desserts are good. I miss how good the Mac and the southwest Benny used to be. Also miss the cozy aesthetic. Oh well. At least the staff is usually nice and accommodating.
I don't know which location I'm reviewing here but what I said essentially goes for all of them.
