I paid over $20 for a salad with chicken. I got a salad to-go and when I got it home, it had dark meat chicken which I do not care for. I could not find on the website where they are subbing dark meat for white meat so this was disappointing. I understand trying to cut costs but at over $20 + for a salad, it should be consistent with what was served in the past.

The Flying Star Cafe is a neat place to grab a bite to eat. There's a lot of open space and it would be a great place to spend a long lunch with friends, or have a working lunch with colleagues. I had a great green chile cheeseburger with a peach tea. I also got a couple of desserts from their awesome bakery for the road. So far I've only enjoyed the carrot cake - which was incredible.

I made an online order thinking that I would have time before I get back to work. I was starving I thought I give the Flying Star in Nob Hill a try. I called to see how long it would take before I took the drive over there. The person who answered said that there was no order place under my name. While I was on the phone with him, I logged into my online banking and sure enough, there it was, Flying Star Café-Nob Hill with the amount posted to my account. The manager I spoke to was not very helpful at all (or he does not know how to take care of customers after a mistake has been done) and did not offer anything to make it up to me to fix this fiasco made from their side. I must admit I became rather upset. The Flying Star used to be awesome, but in the last few years I have had several bad experiences. I am so glad I called before I drove over to the Flying Star having to wait for nothing just to learn later that there was no order placed.

9 times outta 10 the food here is awesome no matter what you order… that being said I can confidently say that the Fish Tacos are probably one of the worst things I’ve eaten in years. The fish was cooked well an the spicy aïoli was good but the coleslaw (each taco was like 60%slaw to 40%fish) was so overpowering and sweet it just ruined everything including the corn tortillas that were a soggy mess. So if you gotta have fish while dining at the flying star maybe consider the “Fish dish” or the tried and true fish an chips. Having said all this I can definitely say I’ll l be ordering again and still do recommend this place.

I have always loved everything i have ordered here. It is the most visited restaurant in Albuquerque since my family moved here in 2013. I think they have the best coffee, They offer a nice variety and everything tastes clean and fresh. Service is usually very good.

Way overpriced for what you get. It's nice but so not worth what you pay..
That Cali melt hit the spot with the meat and cheesy goodness. Comes with tomato mushrooms and just get the sweet potato fries as it has no need for any sauces. Thank you all for being amazing ???
