My meal was very, my partners was not. Greasy croissant and total fatty bacon, way over done with salad dressing was not appealing. Staff was nice and soup was excellent. It felt as though the kitchen staff just threw the BLT together.
Carries Restaurant is a beautiful, light-filled space. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive. Every time I took a sip of coffee my cup was immediately refilled. I just don't know why they are not open for dinner. The food, service and ambiance at the 1922 Bar, which is where dinner is served, was subpar. I recommend ordering dinner from room service. It uses Carrie's kitchen. If their kitchen is open, why can't you dine...
We went for brunch New Year Day, good menu, well prepared food except my meal came out totally cold, that was quickly corrected. The hostess/waitress didn't even try to come off cheerful so the experience was dulled a bit. We'll try dinner one of these nights soon.
