My husband and I had a very enjoyable evening last night at the one-night interactive performance at the Foul Play Cafe. As we looked around the room - yes everything was in a sectioned off part of a ballroom at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown- it looked like everyone was having a great time. Lots of laughter. The meal was very good and the service (provided by the actors themselves) was excellent. What we really loved was how they were thoroughly enjoying themselves the whole time, even from when we first arrived and were greeted at the door by a fun-loving actor. It was a little pricey, but worth it. You could even have your picture taken with them after.

A lot of fun! I highly recommend taking some friends or for a night out. I took my boyfriend for his birthday (during the holiday season). We saw the show, "This Holiday is gonna get Ugly." We both got beef entrees and it was tasty. While you eat, you enjoy a live play about a murder. It takes place in a conference room at the Sheraton, which isn't actually a "cafe." But the noise outside the room doesn't bother you during the performance. We were sitting the closest to the door and we were never bothered by outside noise (and their were lots of holiday company parties happening in other conference rooms). They served salad, dinner rolls, ice tea and ice water, soup, then the main course, then a dessert course too! Each course was good and I ate everything there. They make dietary restrictions too so if you are gluten-free, vegan, or lactose intolerant, they will accommodate you. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would do again some other year!

Had a great time at Mr. Merriweather's Mansion! The mystery was entertaining and humorous. The cast was great at adlibbing and some of the funniest incidents occurred when the audience chimed in. The actors are talented and encourage the audience to participate which doesn't always happen at other mystery shows. Dinner was three selections of chicken, pork or vegetarian. I chose the chicken and was very happy with my selection. Fun way to spend a Saturday night!

An enjoyable, fun eveing. The actors portrayed their characters well and the dinner was descent. They were VERY accommodating one person in our dinner party that was vegan. A fun way to celebrate a special occasion.

Absolutely great evening of fun, laughter and good food. I highly recommend this! The cast was excellent and kept you engaged the entire evening. Great date night with my wife!

If I could I would give zero stars. A cardboard box has more flavor than the food that was served, the acting was terrible (the maid, Julia pleasant), the decore was pittyful, I can say the service was good. To be honest I thought about walking out. I had been wanting to go to this for quite some time and what a real disappointment!!! 1 🌟

A dinner theater put on by local actors. Comes with a fairly upscale fancy dinner I could not eat because of my allergies and weight loss stomach surgery. (They cheerfully accommodated me and fixed me something I could eat. Well, it was twice as much as my stomach could stomach, but very good.) The play is the thing and the show must go on. A delightful cast was totally convincing in their portrayals of the characters. The clever play was written about a desperate 1949 radio station trying to put on a radio drama good enough to keep the station on the air. Each table of the audience was assigned a sound effect to give on command of the stage manager, and this produced a rollicking silly good time. The mystery could be solved if you noticed just the right clue. With no idea whodunnit I just made up a character not even in the play and said "the cowboy did it!"

Fun! Great evening with the adult family! Loved the play, the bartender, the actors and actresses and definitely the food! The whole group felt the same too! We laughed and laughed! Great adult fun! They accommodated gluten free vegetarian even! Any little thing that happened they would improvise and get everyone to laugh! So talented!!!
