This was listed as one of the top eateries in Albuquerque, famous, historical, ect. Well, my experience was so-so at best. Parking is hard to find, I had to park almost a block down the street, no big deal, it's a busy area with lots of restaurants. Ordered my food, of which apparently you can't really make any substitutes, all I wanted was green chile stew instead of fries. Again, not a big deal. Got the green chile burger. Decent size, but super moist. I'm a Marine, and I eat quite fast, but the bun soaked through and was turning to mush before I even got halfway through. And for being a green chile burger, I could hardly taste the chiles, it's not a nice slab, it's diced and added on. The couple rings of onion were far stronger than the chile. I also got a small side of the stew, it was pretty good, not great. Again, much lighter on the chile than expected. The fries were fantastic though! As for seating, the place is huge, and for a mid evening meal on a Tuesday, there was a ton of tables open so no issues there. Overall, not bad, but it definitely didn't live up to the hype in my book, maybe it's because I eat out a lot because of my job, and have tried so many places that this one just didn't stand out. I do recommend Frontier, just temper expectations a little.

The place has been around for a very long time OK decoration not very big on cleaning. Bathrooms are very dirty and in general doesn’t seem very clean. The food is OK nothing to brag about. In my opinion. The food is overrated. There’s a lot better spots in New Mexico to visit and whatever you do did not order the rules. They change my role four times and every time it was like a brick.
I always go there for breakfast when I'm in town. Good food. Just a heads up that large OJ (freshly squeezed) is $11. I think its well worth it. They let you know that it is that price and will ask if that's ok.

It is like stepping back in time here, and I mean that in the best way at possible!! My fiancé and I have been on a cross country move and tried to make the most of it by stopping at local eateries. So happy we came here. If I could have eaten here every breakfast I would have, but sadly we only had one morning. The burrito is superior. Everything looked and smelled so damn good. The staff was friendly enough, hard working and incredibly efficient with the volume I’m sure they do. Also, they are open a crazy amount of hours! Truly a gem in that town for so many reasons. If I’m ever in NM again, you bet I’m stopping in to try more things in the menu! The cinnamon rolls smelled amazing. We regretted not getting one!
