I used to love eating here now after getting the wrong food again for the last time and not only was it taken back in to be fixed it still ended up being the incorrect order so I took the loss and ate something I didn’t want. So please have the cashier label with non toxic markers to keep track of orders because I believe I won’t be going back after tonight and spending over $60+ for something I never ordered and not only that it was tipped over too and chili everywhere in my bag

This is classic New Mexican dining where red and green chilies and salsa are staples not add-ons. They know the food that they’re making, and they know their customers. This small local chain has been around for decades and there’s a good reason for that.

An albuquerque institution. The reason why it's an institution is because it's great food made by locals with awesome service.

Garcias was our choice for a take out taco bar. We had a large family gathering, and it was perfect.Food was ready and hot, and easy for us to set up. Everyone loved the beef and chicken tacos with beans, rice, quac, salsa, chips and biscochitos. Garcias made it easy for us and we had time to enjoy being with family. Quantities were very generous and we had a lot left over but that’s good too!

You have to go to certain ones. 4th street is okay and hit or miss with Juan tabo one. Central old town is the best one usually.

I've been away from the southwest for several years but I was visiting family but more importantly to get my fill of good Mexican food and it happened at Garcia's. Two beef enchiladas that made my day. The sauce was wonderful too. Highly recommend
