My family and myself came to eat breakfast after the Sugar Skull Fun Run, and I don't think we could have come at a better time! Everyone was dressed up for Halloween, even the cooks!! I popped in this place twice this weekend while I'm in Albuquerque for a wedding. They were quick to tell me that they're the original Garcia's. The menudo, my first meal, was okay. I'm pretty small bowl for 12 bucks and no real spice or heat to it. I asked for tortillas and they didn't ask me a flour or corn, which most people do. And they serve me a fat flour tortilla which I assume is given to you to help fill you up given the size of the serving. My...
Solid New Mexican food at very decent prices. The green chile sauce was excellent -- brought a little sweat to my forehead but didn't overpower the carnitas in the stuffed sopapilla. Everyone was happy with their order.
