Gobble This has a lot of character. The outside has really cool art and design and it's located on a quiet chill block which made it perfect for our meal.

The food portions were small but really enjoyable. I wouldn't come here if you have a big appetite but the food we did have definitely hit the spot.

The reason I gave it three stars is because of the service. It started out great but one of my friends ordered the diablo shrimp with a corn topper because she has a gluten intolerance. We were told this wouldn't be a problem but when the food came out it was made with a wheat flour topper. She let the server know and they said they would remake it. Instead of remaking the entire meal they only replaced the topper for a corn one.

Knowing about the risk of cross examination, we all expected the full meal would be remade. The server went on to say that she only meant that they would replace the topper and that led into an awkward conversation about the difference between an allergy and intolerance. At that point we decided to finish our meals and leave so that my friend could eat somewhere else without the risk of contamination. Unfortunately this really put a damper on the whole experience.

The food we did have was good and we enjoyed the environment for a short time we were there. I would just advise their staff to not argue with customers and try their best to accommodate customers who may have dietary restrictions so that they feel safe and satisfied with their meal and experience.

I stopped into Gobble This near closing time and it immediately felt warm and homey. Alex was awesome and answered all my questions. I’d never had pupusas before and these were unreal. Even the beans and rice were so good they kind of stunned me. My sister had the tamales and cleaned her plate. The portions were just right. The menu is small in the best way, since it usually means everything on it is going to be great, and that was true here. My only regret is that I don’t live in town because I’d try everything and absolutely become a regular. Chef Nestor’s food is something I won’t forget.

Nice and cozy when you sit all the way in the back. Or if the weather permits, sit outside. Pupusas were quite tasty. Loads of cheese. The fermented cabbage was a bit too vinegary for my palate. The beans and rice were prepared with savory spices. And the green dipping sauce was very mild. All in all a good place for lunch.

This experience was absolutely incredible! The location is wonderful, nestled right in Old Town, and the interior feels like you’re dining at a friend’s home. The Christmas decorations were adorable, and my date and I couldn’t stop smiling at the cozy, cheerful atmosphere. The music, the vibe, everything was just perfect.
Then there’s the food, wow. We started with the agua fresca, easily the best I’ve ever had. Even the ice cubes are made from agua fresca, so the flavor stays just as delicious to the last sip. The chips and salsa came next, and OMG the chips were perfectly crispy and seasoned, served with three dips; two incredible salsas and a guac packed with flavor. For our meal, we had the carnitas pupusa and the chicken and black bean tacos. Both were packed with flavor, the tacos overflowing with tender chicken and the pupusa perfectly cheesy and golden. This chef truly knows what they’re doing!
And we have to mention Will and Irma (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) they completely made our experience. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine smiles elevated everything. You can really tell they care about the guests and love what they do. The food was outstanding, but their energy and sincerity made the evening unforgettable.
This restaurant feels homey, inviting, and full of heart. We left happy, full, and already talking about when we can come back, especially to check out some of their fun events. Perfect date night spot!

This little restaurant has three or four outdoor tables and a few more inside, better suited for larger groups. It was nicely decorated with a Christmas vibe and had a seasonal menu. Pupusas (2 units) were delicious and I highly recommend green chile filling. They are made to order and worth the 20-minute wait. Agua fresca was good too. Service was attentive.

The wait is definitely worth it. Patio outdoor seating, food made to order, and absolutely delicious. They are usually not open on Wednesdays, and we lucked out!

Ordered the chicken burrito. $10.50 and it's loaded with beans and very little chicken. You'd think management would be smarter than to try to cut corners on the food ; I won't be back. - Ed

Our server, Alex, was an absolute delight! And Nestor’s food was amazing! We are not the easiest customers. We have spice sensitive, gluten free and vegetarian between 4 people. They did everything perfectly. The lions mane mushrooms were to die for, pupusas were fantastic. We are making plans to return for a private chef experience on our next visit to Albuquerque. I have no photos because we are it too fast. Thank you Gobble This!!

We were targeting lunch at a more traditional restaurant in the plaza. Lines were way too long and we'd walked by Gobble This. It outlined delicious papusas, empanadas and tacos. Everything is made fresh to order. You have to wait, yet each table has an old time game to take your mind off the wait. We played UNO, and the table next to us had Battleships.

The food was fresh hot and delicious and although not New Mexican cuisine it was the best meal we had for the week of ABQ Baloon Fiesta 2025

Ended up here after a walking tour. Yucca fries were the best ( better than my Cuban born girlfriends). We had an aqua Fresca , great! I’m sorry we weren’t here for a full meal

So glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem just a few steps off the square in Santa Fe. Fantastic flavors folded into the Pupusa and Street Tacos. And they are so friendly!
