We found this place as we were walking through Old Town. I had never had pupusas but had heard they were very good. Turns out very good doesn’t come close to describing how delicious they are (or at least how delicious they are here). One of the best lunches we’ve had in a long time. Great food, friendly service and a very cool atmosphere. Our new favorite Albuquerque restaurant.

I arrived at 12:00 for lunch. The restaurant was not open, although noon is the posted opening time. One of the staff came around to the front and used a leaf blower for twelve minutes blowing the leaves while I waited in front. The entire time the door remained locked. Another member of staff came out of the restaurant and went back in. At no time was I greeted or allowed to enter. merely informed that they would open soon. Noon is apparently too early for lunch despite the restaurant posting this time as their opening. Rude, discourteous behavior from a restaurant. Never got to try their food, after waiting fifteen minutes I left. NEVER going back. Don't care. Would never recommend. If people don't respect or appreciate their customers and can't even pretend that they want you in their establishment they ought not to be in the restaurant business. Would give a ZERO review if possible.

Amazing little restaurant. The folks running it are great and the food is phenomenal. Had the pupusa plate, the pupusa and yuca were the best I've had. A+, would go back

Great food,a true gem in old Town .Alix referred me to this place, I'm very glad she did.
Beautiful & unique!
Super-tasty and low-key place with very personalized service. The indoors seating is quirky and varied and the outside patio is partially shaded and private. Most importantly, the food is delicious and well-made and the folks preparing and serving it are kind and genuine. Prices are a bit higher than what they might be for tacos and street food elsewhere, but the cafe is nestled in the thick of tourist-heavy Old Town, so it's hard to be grumpy on this point. Also, the deliciousness and the overall out-of-the-way feel more than make up for it.

The best pupusa I ever had. The aguafresca was delicious and overall you get a feeling of enjoying a meal with all the love of a family meal. The prices are very reasonable

We stumbled upon Gobble This while walking through Old Town Albuquerque, and what a discovery! This Salvadoran fusion café is truly unique—warm, soulful, and bursting with flavor. Chef Nestor is a local legend, and it shows in every dish. The pupusas, tacos, and yuca frita were phenomenal, and the staff made us feel like family.
We were so impressed, we’re already planning to return for the reservation-only five-course dinner and another lunch date soon. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, and the relationship-based service makes every guest feel special. Gobble This isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience.

Food was good! I feel a bit overpriced tho for the portion and not a lot for sides. I understand small businesses have to charge a bit more but taco plate with a few chips ($20) and pupusa with some rice ($20) small agua Fresca ($5). Due to the small portion and price, I most likely won’t be back unfortunately.

Nestor is incredibly talented and so accommodating! I’ve had a private graduation party here and more recently a late night romantic dinner following our elopement, and him and his staff knocked it out of the park. The food is fresh with herbs pulled from his own garden and the selection and flavor combinations are incredible. I truly can’t recommend Gobble This enough whether you’re stopping by for pupusas, doing a dinner reservation or throwing a private event.

Absolutely Amazing Food!!!
From the Papua’s to dessert empanadas everything was outstanding.
Beyond the food experience, the staff was possibly the friendliest I’ve encountered in my world travels. Nestor and his staff came out and talked to us for an extended time sharing their experiences of the town of Albuquerque even recommending other places to visit.
We will definitely recommend this place highly to anybody traveling to Albuquerque!!!
The Agua Fresca they served is the most delicious drink I ever had.
The Tostada was very good as well.
