I stopped into Gobble This near closing time and it immediately felt warm and homey. Alex was awesome and answered all my questions. I’d never had pupusas before and these were unreal. Nice and cozy when you sit all the way in the back. Or if the weather permits, sit outside. Pupusas were quite tasty. Loads of cheese. The fermented cabbage was a bit too vinegary for my palate. The beans and rice were prepared with savory spices. And the green dipping sauce was very mild. All in all a good place for lunch.
This experience was absolutely incredible! The location is wonderful, nestled right in Old Town, and the interior feels like you’re dining at a friend’s home. The Christmas decorations were adorable, and my date and I couldn’t stop smiling at the cozy, cheerful atmosphere. The music, the vibe, everything was just perfect.
