The Golden Pride! un Wabo has the best cook in Albuquerque! None of the other golden prides can compare to the taste of their food and the present presentation of the food! I have had several other Golden Pride!’s and their burritos fall apart, and the paper is all full of chili and soggy! The cook, Javier does all of his ingredients perfectly! The lead, Cook Helena, always is on top of her helpers! Ryan, the one that makes the hashbrowns is on top of his game and never makes...
I know Golden Pride is an Albuquerque staple, and generations grew up with this comfort food. I've given several tries to this restaurant, mostly because of their supposedly legendary fried chicken. In my opinion, it is incredibly greasy. I don't think the oil is hot enough. Good people and a good following, but there's just too much grease in the chicken. It seems soggy with oil.
Always quick while being always busy! Best burritos hands down. Chicken is also great! Affordable on prices as well. Can’t beat it been going there since my parent’s used to take me, now I take my own kids there. Tradition
