Although the food is good, I would only recommend going to this location if you’re walking. If you’re in a vehicle, good luck, figuring out the drive-through and the postage stamp parking lot with no parking.

Best carne al
The tortillas are amazing
Local favorite for breakfast burritos. True Burquenos know their favorite by number. Mine is Number 9, and like the Beetles song, I have that phrase on repeat. They are also locally famous for their sweet rolls.
Pride also does a great job with drive through BBQ. They have an indoors sit down area. I would rate it appropriately meh. Perfect for what it is. For a better sit down experience and a bigger menu, go to Golden’s partner, the Frontier Restaurant near the university.

I am so done with this place! We were told that our chicken nuggets would take five minutes, and to park on the gravel. If you ever visited this location, then you know this is not acceptable for a parking space. The jagged and sharp gravel can damage your car tires causing flats. Also, the gravel area has no exit, meaning you would have to drive over a public sidewalk causing additional damage to your car.
We let the cashier know that this was not an option and had to drive around the block to park next to the entrance, and not some random gravel pit. This location is not designed to drive around the building to wait for your food, you literally have to make a right on Lomas Blvd, then a right on Yale Blvd, then another right on Mesa Vista Rd, then the next right will take you back to Golden Pride.
While we were waiting, the cashier that told us to drive on the gravel pit to wait for our food, was now outside yelling and chasing away a homeless person. When we finally received our order (ten minutes later) a nice touch would have been a cinnamon roll for the wait and inconvenience for having to drive around the block; in addition to, being told five minutes for the wait, when it was actually ten minutes. I guess that would be asking for too much, because we didn’t even receive an apology.
The quality control sucks!! Not only were several chicken nuggets stuck together, there were no napkins in the bag. We went to the front door entrance and it was locked. We knocked on the door and no one answered. The drive-thru line was too long to get back in line for new chicken nuggets and napkins so we just took a loss. Maybe instead of worrying about bullying homeless people,
focus on quality control and give customers their napkins.

This is a drive thru only location, ordered fries and asked for ketchup...guess what? NO KETCHUP or NAPKINS! I gave this place another chance and ordered ribs. As we all know ribs can get messy while eating, especially when slathered in barbecue sauce...guess what again? No napkins!! Napkins should be in the bag without asking for one, especially when ordering ribs!!!

I ordered two burritos with no eggs extra hash browns, I paid 15.04 and was given no receipt, this was my first time ever at golden Pride and ever and it was super freaking busy, I was very hopeful and you can call me gluttonous if you want, but I paid $15 for a burrito that wasn’t even rolled correctly. There was definitely not extra hash brown. The only thing I can definitely say is their tortillas are very good. That’s why I gave it. The stars that I did. Maybe the red chili is better but I’m not sure I’d try this place again and maybe it’s just this location, but husband even complained and he never does he eats anything he just couldn’t get over the size and price, and mess I know things are expensive but I paid extra or what I assume is extra for hash browns?

I went there on Christmas Eve through the drive-through an hour or so before they closed just to get a dozen of tortillas. There was no wait so it was quick. I had my dog with me and they seems to enjoy that. Was glad they were open with my last-minute craving of their tortillas with some green chili stew 😋
